  • Patent number: 11790253
Abstract: Method and system for modeling of complex systems using a two-sorted reasoning system. Information is received by Distributed Feature Extraction Processors. A first level of reasoning is performed on the information by Distributed Regular Reasoning Processors. A second reasoning process is performed on the information by Distributed Situation Reasoning Processors, which use a Functional Fabric configured to analyze the information received and use functions to modify previous inferences. Client applications allow for viewing and manipulating both reasoning systems and their associated information.

  • Patent number: 10360503
Abstract: A system for deriving ontologies to support inferencing with changing context, including changes of time. Embodiment of the invention use a unique system for modeling context and the interactions among multiple contexts in order to compute functions that can modify ontologies for presentation to a reasoning system. A parallel unique system allows previous inferences to be retrospectively modified based on newly derived ontological semantics. The system allows for the creation of new ontological elements and auditable models of agency and cause. It can be implemented using methods that delay evaluation until semantic interpretation is required, either at the ontological or inferential level.

  • Patent number: 10332562
Abstract: A system for creating a streaming media navigation and annotation display, allowing for deep annotation and efficient browsing of annotations. A system which additionally allows for annotating spatial elements of media, for example cinematic effects. A method which implements this using reactive methods which allow integration with advanced knowledge representation and display systems.

  • Patent number: 9117167
Abstract: A system for collaborative analysis from different processes on different data sources. The system uses a unique approach to lightweight temporary data structures in order to allow communication of interim results among processes, and construction of semantically appropriate reports. The data structures are generated in near real time and their lightweight nature supports massive scaling, including many diverse streaming inputs.

  • Publication number: 20140281865
Abstract: A system for creating links among diverse elements in order to convey a variety of logical relationships. The system uses a unique approach to browser development in order to allow for the delayed transformation of data which has undergone either a change to its actual value, or a change in its relationship to other data. Linked data is left unevaluated until a user desires to view the data through a user interface. This delayed evaluation conserves bandwidth and system resources, and further enables the system to more efficiently create, organize, and maintain relationships between large volumes of diverse elements.
