In various exemplary non-limiting embodiments, the innovation provides multimedia furniture that includes structure for supporting an entertainment device, at least one outwardly facing rear section, wherein the at least one outwardly facing rear section includes an opening through which a cable is receivable and a cable management apparatus disposed on the outwardly facing rear section, the cable management apparatus includes at least two longitudinally extending cable guide members forming a channel therebetween.

Abstract: Several one-piece unitary easily manufactured and economical products that both facilitate the routing of cable and the storage of extra lengths of cable are provided wherein a cable management apparatus includes a centrally disposed first cable confinement portion mountable to a surface, a second cable confinement portion extending from a first side of the first cable confinement portion, and a third cable confinement portion extending from a second side of the first cable confinement portion opposite the first side such that the first, second, and third cable confinement portions are substantially aligned. Abstract: Multimedia furniture includes structure for a multimedia console that allows insertion of the console through a front panel of the multimedia furniture, e.g., via a slot or cutout, advantageously keeping the console apparent through the front panel. For better integration of multimedia peripherals and storage components into the multimedia furniture, the invention also includes structure for retaining multimedia storage components, such as gaming DVDs and their cases and/or structure for retaining gaming peripherals, such as wired or wireless gaming controllers. For instance, in one non-limiting embodiment, a furniture stand for a display device is provided having a main surface for supporting a display device. In a front panel, the furniture stand includes a cutout or slot in a front panel for receiving a multimedia console. In another non-limiting embodiment, tower furniture is provided including a cutout or slot in the tower portion for receiving and supporting a multimedia console.

Abstract: Storage furniture is provided that includes storage area(s) and removable section(s) for enclosing the storage area(s), wherein the removable section(s) include multiple sides, and wherein any one of the sides of a removable section may be made optionally apparent by the user when the removable section is placed in position to obscure a corresponding storage area. In one embodiment, metal areas are provided with the removable sections that are attracted via magnetization by magnet(s) provided substantially adjacent a corresponding storage area, so that any side of a removable section may outwardly face an observer when the removable section is covering an associated storage area.
