Patent number: 5632376Abstract: A film storing device is provided for storing a plurality of film assembly each including an image bearing film which is attached to a sheet-like mount. The film storing device comprises a pair of translucent sheet materials which are laid one over the other and bonded together along bonding areas including a plurality of longitudinally extending bonding areas and a plurality of transversely extending bonding areas defining a plurality of substantially rectangular storing sections to form a storing pocket in each of the storing sections between the pair of the translucent sheet materials. One of the sheet materials is formed with cutouts for forming an inlet to each storing pocket. A translucent image area is formed in each of the storing sections so that image on the film of the film assembly stored in the storing pocket can be visually observed through the pair of translucent sheet materials.Type: GrantFiled: May 16, 1995Date of Patent: May 27, 1997Assignee: Slidex CorporationInventor: Jiro Ozeki

Patent number: 5588528Abstract: A sheet-like storing element for storing an optical recording disc. The storing element is formed at one side with one or more rectangular frames each of which have a circular frame formed therein. In the circular frame, there is a cutout portion which is formed by cutting off a portion of an area which is surrounded by the circular frame. The circular frame is interrupted or cut-off in the vicinity of at least one of corners of the rectangular frame. The sheet-shaped storing element has a film of a flexible material which is attached thereto at a side where the circular frame is formed so that the area surrounded by the circular frame is covered thereby. The circular frame of the storing element has an inner diameter which is larger than the outer diameter of the recording disc which is to be stored in the storing element.Type: GrantFiled: April 16, 1996Date of Patent: December 31, 1996Assignee: Slidex CorporationInventor: Jiro Ozeki

Patent number: 5538287Abstract: A file sheet binder including a plurality of binding units arranged in parallel. Each of the binding units comprises a flat, elongated base plate and one or more gripping sections, each including a pair of gripping members provided at one surface of the base plate. The paired gripping members have edges which are opposed to each other to form a slit therebetween so that a file sheet can be gripped at an edge portion by the edges forming the slit. An opening is formed in the base plate between the paired gripping members. The gripping members and the base plate are manufactured as an integral part by molding a plastics material. The opening is adapted for removing a core which is used in molding process for defining a space between the paired gripping members.Type: GrantFiled: December 5, 1994Date of Patent: July 23, 1996Assignee: Slidex CorporationInventor: Jiro Ozeki

Patent number: 5466008Abstract: A file sheet storing device comprising a first sheet made of a transparent material and adapted to cover one side surface of a file sheet, a second sheet made of a transparent or an opaque material and adapted to cover the other side surface of the file sheet. The first and the second sheets are connected together to form a bag-shaped cover along three edge portions leaving the remaining edge portion at least partially unconnected to provide an opening for insertion of a file sheet. The bag-shaped cover is formed along one of the three edge portions with a bonded portion for binding the cover to a book-shaped binder. The cover is further formed along the edge portion where the bonded portion is provided with a line of attachment between the first and the second sheets for preventing the file sheet from being displaced toward the edge portion where the bonded portion is formed.Type: GrantFiled: January 25, 1994Date of Patent: November 14, 1995Assignee: Slidex CorporationInventor: Jiro Ozeki

Patent number: 5290118Abstract: A recording disc filing device for storing optical recording discs such as compact discs. The filing device includes a recording disc filing sheet having a plurality of recording disc storing sections for receiving recording discs, respectively. The recording disc storing sections are arranged in a predetermined pattern. The filing device further includes a leaflet filing sheet having leaflet storing sections for receiving leaflets carrying information on recorded contents in the recording discs stored in the recording disc storing sections. The leaflet storing sections correspond in number to the recording disc storing sections. The recording disc filing sheet and the leaflet filing sheet are arranged so that the leaflet storing sections in the leaflet filing sheet are located at positions corresponding to the recording disc storing sections in the recording disc filing sheet.Type: GrantFiled: January 23, 1992Date of Patent: March 1, 1994Assignee: Slidex CorporationInventor: Jiro Ozeki

Patent number: 5238270Abstract: A filing binder comprising a plurality of elongated binding members made of a resilient material. Each of the binding members has a groove extending along the length of the binding member and formed with a slit opening opened at one side of the binding member. The groove is of a cross-sectional configuration which is enlarged from the slit opening toward transverse inward direction. The binding members are arranged in side-by-side relationship with the slit openings directed to the same orientation and connected together by flexible or hinge connection. A file sheet is provided for engagement with the slit opening in the binding member. The file sheet is provided with a dust cover of a transparent material which covers the opposite sides of the file sheet.Type: GrantFiled: March 16, 1992Date of Patent: August 24, 1993Assignee: Slidex CorporationInventor: Jiro Ozeki

Patent number: 5223870Abstract: The overhead projector include a lower plate disposed on a housing of a main body of the overhead projector. The lower plate can rotate about a light axis of a condenser lens and has a transparent portion facing at least the condenser lens. A projection lens is supported above the condenser lens and an upper plate is disposed under the projection lens. The upper plate is supported vertically resiliently with respect to the projection lens and has a transparent portion at least facing the condenser lens. The upper plate is able to rotate about a light axis of the condenser lens. When images projected on a screen lie sideways or upside down, the upper and lower plates which are interposing a film therebetween are rotated. Thus, the directions of the projected images are correctly adjusted.Type: GrantFiled: September 23, 1992Date of Patent: June 29, 1993Assignee: Slidex CorporationInventor: Jiro Ozeki
