Abstract: A system and method for activating a mobile device to initiate a communication directed to a target device is disclosed. The system and method may be implemented via a computing device arranged to send a request for activating the mobile device to initiate a communication, the request comprising a unique identifier of the target device; an unique identifier of the mobile device and contextual information relating to the communication; wherein the mobile device is arranged to receive the request to initiate the machine communication and upon receiving the request, parses and executes the request depending on the nature of the communication channel between the mobile device and target device.

Abstract: A computing device for facilitating transactions between one or more remote devices, the device comprising a processing module arranged to interact with the one or more remote devices via a communications network and a database arranged to contain information regarding the state of one or more transaction channels in relation to an account, wherein the module is arranged to receive instructions via the communications network from the one or more remote devices and provide information regarding the state of the one or more transaction channels is disclosed.

Abstract: There is provided a system of transmitting partograph information and analysing the same comprising a client device adapted to receive partograph information as inputs; the inputs transmittable to a partograph processing server via a wireless communication network; wherein the partograph processing server is configured to receive the partograph information; conform the partograph information to a standardized format and disseminate the partograph information to at least one computer device. Preferably, the partograph processing server further comprises an analyser to analyse the partograph information for one or more abnormality condition and provides an alert to the at least one computer device and the client device. Alternatively, the analyser is installed in the client device in the form of a software application.

Abstract: A system and method for routing electronic content to a recipient device comprising a plurality of network nodes, each network node adapted to receive and forward electronic content and an activity profile server adapted to be in data communication with each network node, the activity profile server adapted to monitor the activity level of each network node and inform each network node on the congestion level of an adjacent network node; wherein each network node is adapted, on receiving the information on congestion level to store electronic content if the adjacent network node is congested and forward the electronic content to the adjacent network node if the adjacent network node is not congested is disclosed.
