Abstract: Anti-theft fixing device for securing a wheel to the hub of a motor vehicle, including a threaded part and a driving part having a cylindrical head and a sleeve-like insert with coupling indentations on its exterior. The insert is force-fitted onto the cylindrical head into a first use position, while being able to assume a second position in which it is engaged more deeply around the cylindrical head. The insert is coupled rotationally to the cylindrical head through friction mechanisms, the cylindrical head and the insert being configured in such a way that in the first position the friction mechanisms are capable of transmitting a tightening or loosening torque, while in the second position these friction mechanisms are not capable of transmitting this torque.
