  • Patent number: 11655865
Abstract: A separating device that receives via a lower inlet an air flow laden with impurities, namely dust produced by pads of a brake assembly, and makes it possible to separate and collect heavy dust. The housing of the device contains a multi-cyclone cluster, with cyclones distributed annularly and supplied tangentially by a central collector surmounting an axial duct communicating with the inlet. The centrifuged and separated liquid and solid particles are directly collected below the cyclones in a trapping zone around the duct, the cluster forming a transverse barrier connected in a sealed manner to the duct so as to prevent the liquid collected in the trapping zone from rising towards a downstream zone, only gravity discharge orifices of the cyclones allowing the trapping zone to be filled during the operation of the device.

  • Patent number: 11592067
Abstract: The filtration device enables the separation and collection of dust and particles produced by the pads of a brake assembly. A first separation unit having an air filtration medium, typically annular, is provided in the housing of the device, in order to define an upstream zone where air is admitted, for example tangentially, and a downstream zone in communication with an outlet of the housing for discharging the purified air. The upstream zone is in communication with a lower stage situated lower down, in which a second separation unit is located in order to separate water from particles that have fallen from the upstream zone. A filtration by the second unit is intended to collect clean water and possibly to discharge this water by gravitational flow. The fallen particles remain trapped inside the device, under the first unit.

  • Patent number: 11536171
Abstract: The filter for the purification of a liquid of a combustion engine, particularly lubricating oil, includes a housing that has, in a bottom part, an inlet for raw liquid and an outlet for purified liquid, and an unscrewable lid. A cartridge, defined by a filtering insert and a preassembled bypass valve, is received in the housing. The insert has a flange for fixing the valve, covering an end of the filtering medium. The bypass valve can be separated from the cover such that the cartridge can be removed. The valve has a removable connection element that axially engages with a complementary securing component formed on the flange, in a locking configuration obtained by a pivoting action.

  • Patent number: 11338230
Abstract: The fuel filter has an outlet for the filtered fuel in a lower base portion of a casing, and a valve associated with the outlet. The filter insert has an internal space in which filtered fuel flows and that accommodates a central member capable of moving the valve to an open position when the insert is in an operational configuration in the casing. The valve is urged, by default, to a sealed position cutting off the flow to the outlet, for example by resilient return arranged between the bottom of the filter and a wall of an interface that guides the lower end of the central member. The central member and the filter insert form a removable unit, and it is therefore possible, typically by way of a cover/removable unit fastening, to automatically obtain the sealed position after opening the top cover.

  • Patent number: 11105301
Abstract: The fuel vapor absorber includes, on a housing member and separately from an air inlet, an orifice for the circulation of fuel vapors coming from a tank. A pipe for supplying these vapors passes through the housing member via the orifice and forms a support for a pressure regulating valve, provided with a valve body and a closure member. The pipe, provided for adaptation between the valve and the housing, is fastened to the housing member, forming at least one annular sealing area surrounding the pipe. The valve, which is fastened by snap-fitting or the like, may be housed in the inside volume of the absorber, where an absorption product is stored. The pipe is typically mounted on the inner face side of the housing member and may be directly welded.

  • Patent number: 10786771
Abstract: The fuel filter (1) contains a filter element (4) and an additive tank (13) in a housing (2, 3). The filter element is engaged against the removable cover (3) of the housing and has a filter medium (5) extending in an annular manner around an inner space (9). An additive release device (32) extends into this inner space (9) to distribute liquid additive from the tank (13) into a fuel circulation circuit for an internal combustion engine. The additive selectively flows into a sealed distribution channel (DC) of the device (32) depending on an open or closed configuration of an actuator component (62) associated with the distribution channel. The distribution channel (DC) opens into a fuel channel (52) of the cover (3) that has a larger cross-section than the distribution channel (DC).

  • Patent number: 10583381
Abstract: In a filter cartridge (CC) for a fuel filter, the filter element (4) and the additive module are connected and typically stacked so as to allow them to be integrally inserted into a filter housing. The substantially annular filter medium (5) delimits an inner space (9) into which at least one part (24) of the attachment end of the additive module can be engaged. The liquid additive is stored in a casing forming a tank (13) that is placed at a fuel pressure and delimits an internal volume (V2) that can be varied so as to maintain an identical pressure between the liquid additive and the fuel at the periphery (V3) of the tank (13). The additive module has an external connection (28) with a liquid additive outlet pipe (12a), said external connection (28) including sealing means (37, 38) for automatically closing the outlet pipe in a fluidtight manner when the external connection is in a disengaged state.

  • Patent number: 10526938
Abstract: The arrangement for controlling the flow of laden gases is arranged upstream of an oil separation system and is provided with a check valve, a bypass valve and a stationary segment. The check valve is at least partially movable so as to define a first passage for a forward first flow direction in the event of positive pressure, while the bypass valve is moved rearward by negative pressure so as to clear a second passage for a second, opposite, flow direction. The stationary segment forms a seating surface for the bypass valve. The bypass valve, urged against the seating surface by an elastic biasing member, forms a seat for the check valve. In the event of sufficient negative pressure, the two valves are moved rearward together despite the biasing member and work together to redirect and guide the flow along an escape path corresponding to the second passage.
