Abstract: A method for communication of information is described. The method provides for a much greater number of communication channels than available with conventional technologies. The number of communication channels that can be obtained is of the order of n.sup.2, where n is the number of physical channels available. Further, the method provides robustness in the presence of noise, interference, path delays, and other adverse environmental conditions. It is also compatible with a number of privacy insuring methods, and has an inherent resistance to casual prying.
