  • Publication number: 20110003530
Abstract: Disclosed is a driving toy, especially for guided motor-racing circuits, comprising an electric driving motor that has two electric driving motor terminals for feeding an electric driving voltage. The driving toy is arranged such that a short-circuit device is provided in the driving toy and is electrically connected to the two electric driving motor terminals. The short-circuit device is designed such that the same optionally short-circuits the two electric driving motor terminals.

  • Publication number: 20090233521
Abstract: The control of a plurality of toy vehicles (10, 12) using a plurality of operating devices (14, 15) is effected in such a manner that the speed of the toy vehicles (10, 12) is controlled by means of a tappet (26). Each operating device (14, 16) is uniquely assigned to a toy vehicle (10, 12). The operating devices (14, 16) are connected to a control center (18). The latter converts the positions of the actuating elements (26, 28) of each operating device (14, 16) into digitally coded signals and adds a digital address, which identifies a particular operating device (14, 16), to each digitally coded signal or data packet. The control center (18) sends the data packets via the bus bars of the motor racing track, as symbolized with arrows (30), with the result that said data packets are picked up in each toy vehicle (10, 12) using the current collectors 922) and are forwarded to the respective digital decoder (24).

  • Publication number: 20090130951
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for operating a digital control system for several objects to be controlled, in particular for track-guided toy vehicles on a car racing track, with in each case at least one digital decoder in each object to be controlled and with several operating devices, which each have at least one activation element for controlling an object assigned to the operating device. The assignment of the operating device to an object is set up by a digital address being assigned to each en operating device. The digital decoder, depending on the status information of the activation element of the assigned operating device, transmits control commands to the toy vehicle. By this process, the digital decoder selects the control commands derived from the status information for the toy vehicle, depending additionally on the physical state of the toy vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20080265049
Abstract: The invention relates to a track part (10) for a lane-guided toy car racing track, which, on at least one end face (18), has a fastening device for a further track part (10), wherein the fastening device has at least one first pocket (22) and at least one pin (20) that fits into the first pocket (22), which are arranged symmetrically to one another with respect to a center (24) of the end face (18), such that, when two track parts (10) are inserted together, one pin (20) engages in a first pocket (22) in each case. The fastening device additionally has at least one pair (28) of second pockets (30), which are arranged symmetrically with respect to the center (24) of the end face (18), such that, when two track parts (10) are inserted together, two second pockets (30) come into contact with each another in each case.

  • Patent number: 7090556
Abstract: A toy vehicle for a guided motor-racing circuit has a guiding groove and conductor rails adjacent thereto. A keel pivotably mounted on the vehicle engages the guiding groove to aid vehicle guidance. A magnetic device magnetically interacts with the conductor rails to provide additional retaining force for holding the toy vehicle on the track. One end of a rocker is pivotably fixed to the vehicle. The magnetic device is positioned on the rocker at a distance from the pivotable connection. If the vehicle moves off course by pivoting along its longitudinal axis about the keel, the rocker pivots in an opposite manner relative to the vehicle, so the magnetic device remains on the circuit adjacent the rails such that even if the toy vehicle moves off course, a magnetic force of attraction remains between the magnetic device and the conductor rails.
