Patent number: 6739402Abstract: A transport drawbar for an agricultural tractor has an elongate forward drawbar section of substantially uniform rectangular cross section that mounts on the tractor in the conventional way. An elongate second drawbar section extends to the rear from the forward section. A trailing drawbar section extends to the rear from the second drawbar section, the trailing drawbar section having the same vertical thickness as the forward and second sections and a width substantially the same as the width of the forward section. Publication number: 20040068295Abstract: An apparatus is provided for selectively destroying dividing cells in living tissue formed of dividing cells and non-dividing cells. The dividing cells contain polarizable intracellular members and during late anaphase or telophase, the dividing cells are connected to one another by a cleavage furrow. The apparatus includes a generator and insulated electrodes for subjecting the living tissue to electric field conditions sufficient to cause movement of the polarizable intracellular members toward the cleavage furrow in response to a non-homogeneous electric field being induced in the dividing cells. The non-homogeneous electric field produces an increased density electric field in the region of the cleavage furrow. Patent number: 6123349Abstract: A suspension assembly is provided for positioning a wheel support axle below the frame of a vehicle. The assembly comprises a support bracket extending downwardly from a vehicle frame, with a trailing arm pivotally mounted to said bracket and extending therefrom to the axle. The trailing arm is secured to the axle by means of a top, U-shaped clamping member mounted over the trailing arm and having side legs with recessed portions adapted to snuggly mate with the axle and a bottom plate adapted to fit snuggly within the U-shaped clamping member between the side legs and being located between the trailing arm and the U-shaped clamping bracket. Patent number: 5447325Abstract: The present invention relates to a high mobility suspension system for vehicles travelling in a harsh off-road environment. In particular, the suspension system can be mounted on a trailer and consists of a cam mounted on a cam shaft for variably deflecting a leaf spring that is mounted to the frame of the trailer. A swing arm is connected between the axle of the wheel and the cam shaft, such that when the trailer is loaded the wheel is deflected which in turn pivots the swing arm and causes the cam shaft to rotate. As the cam shaft rotates the cam deflects the leaf spring based on a ratio of the actual direct trailer loading. The load rate of the suspension system can be customized by modifying the configuration of the cam member and the swing arm to achieve either a linear, progressive or digressive load rate, or any combination of these rates.
