Abstract: We describe methods of mass-producing full color, 3D holograms, potentially incorporating a personalized image, which are particularly suitable for security purposes. Broadly speaking in embodiments a method generates, electronically, an interlaced image comprising a set of different views of a 3D object from different angles. This is projected onto a diffusing screen using coherent light and mapped from the screen into an angularly encoded object beam using a lenticular array. The different views in the angularly encoded object beam are then recorded simultaneously into holographic film using a reference beam.

Abstract: A pack comprising a block of personal cleansing composition cast in a receptacle, wherein: the personal cleansing composition is solid at an ambient temperature and liquid at an elevated temperature; the personal cleansing composition is in direct contact with the receptacle; the receptacle is resistant to the liquid form of the personal cleansing composition; and the receptacle is configurable into a collapsed form to free the block.
Abstract: In a method of recycling printed paper, the collector chemical composition used to aid ink removal after pulping of the paper advantageously comprises an aqueous emulsion of a polysiloxane and a delivery aid for the polysiloxane, the delivery aid comprising one of more compounds selected from an alkali metal salt of a fatty acid moiety, and a nitrogenous salt of a fatty acid moiety, and a water-swellable polymer. The collector chemical composition is effective at low concentration, gives good brightness gain, low level of fibre loss, and effluent water low in siliceous material.
