Abstract: A substance including the chemical structures of bicyclo [3.2.1]octan or the chemical structures of kaurene for the use in a dietary supplementation or as a constituent in a medicament for the treatment of non-insulin dependent diabetes mellitus, hypertension and/or the metabolic syndrome.
