Patents Assigned to Sumimoto Heavy Industries, Ltd.
  • Patent number: 5429556
Abstract: An internally meshing planetary gear structure or a flexible meshing type gear meshing structure is intended to achieve the lightening, miniaturization and high load capacity by increasing the meshing points of the gear even is the difference in the teeth number between the external gear and the internal gear is two or more. The difference in the teeth number between each of the external gears and the internal gear is set to be N (N: integer being two or more), the tooth profile of the external gear is constructed on the basis of the innermost curve of the epitrochoid parallel curves in N pieces which are superposed to be shifted in phase from each other, and the tooth profile of the internal gear is constructed on the basis of the innermost curve of the trochoid internally enveloping curves in N pieces which mesh with the above epitrochoid parallel curves and which are superposed to be shifted from each other by the same phase as in the external gear.

  • Patent number: 4990078
Abstract: A lip drive structure for a T-die including a main body structure member having an elongated nozzle orifice defined by a pair of lip portion facing each other, a nozzle structure portion including one of the lip portions and formed at the lower end of the main body structure member so as to be integrally connected to the same through an elastically deformable portion, a plurality of bellows disposed on a side surface of the main body structure member on the side of the nozzle structure portion, and a drive section structure member fastened to the bellows at its upper portion and fastened to the lip structure portion at its lower portion. Air supply holes are formed in the drive section structure member to enable the bellows to be supplied with compressed air. The drive section structural member is divided into a plurality of elements in the longitudinal direction.

  • Patent number: 4890721
Abstract: A belt clamp type unloader includes a vertical-horizontal conveyor assembly having a vertically extending portion and a horizontally extending portion, and a scraping section disposed at a position below a lower end of the conveyor assembly. In the conveyor assembly, two endless flat belts are combined such that their respective conveyance faces are superposed face-to-face with each other. Two tail pulleys are rotatably disposed at the lower ends of the vertically extending portions, and are spaced apart from each other transversely with respect to the direction of the breadth of the flat belt conveyor. A pair of pulleys which have a small diameter middle portion and large diameter opposite end portions are rotatably supported near to the lower ends of the flat belt conveyors but above the tail pulleys so as to press the flat belts into contact with each other, and another pulley is disposed at a bent portion at which the vertical portion meets the horizontal portion.
