Abstract: A gas tank retainer for a barbecue grill. The retainer allows the gas tank to be positioned in a recessed relationship with respect to the lower shelf of the grill. The lower shelf is spaced a predetermined distance from the underside of the grill, such that the gas tank cannot be stored vertically beneath the grill, creating a potential fire hazard, rather must be stored in the recessed portion designed for holding the tank.

Abstract: A garment iron including a rear face to which there is releasably attached a cord reel. The cord reel includes a catch to retain it in its position mounted on the rear face. The cord reel is hollow so as to provide a cavity which receives a beaker which may be used to deliver water to the water reservoir of the iron. During use, the cord reel and beaker are removed from the rear face so that the iron may be vertically oriented, resting on its rear face.
Abstract: A steam garment iron (10) having a sole plate (11) upon which there is mounted a body (15). Within the body (15) is a tank (14) which receives water to be delivered the sole plate (11) for the purposes of generating steam. The sole plate (11) has a number of fins (107) which radiate from a predetermined position (steam chest) (110) to where the water is delivered. The sole plate (11) also has a channel (111) extending longitudinally adjacent the heating element (44) into which water is pumped for the production of a jet of steam. Also mounted on the sole plate (11) is a thermostat (30), while the element (44) has a deviation portion (160) located adjacent the mounting (38) of the thermostat (30).
