Abstract: A portal hub assembly for raising the chassis of a vehicle. The portal hub assembly includes a portal box and a mounting assembly removably attachable to one side of the portal box. The mounting assembly includes a mounting body forged as a unitary body. A bracket assembly including at least one mounting bracket is selectively attachable to the mounting body to allow the mounting assembly to receive a component of the suspension system of a desired vehicle.

Abstract: Certain embodiments of the present disclosure describe a differential assembly for allowing a vehicle to switch between two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive. The differential assembly includes a bearing assembly positioned between a race gear and output hubs. An armature plate is rotationally coupled to the bearing assembly and a clutch plate is positioned to engage the armature plate. A biasing member biases the clutch plate to engage the armature plate and allow the bearing assembly to transmit torque between the race gear and output hubs. When electricity is provided to an electromagnet, the electromagnet exerts a magnetic force on the clutch plate that is sufficient to overcome the bias of the biasing member so the clutch plate does not engage the armature plate and the bearing assembly does not transmit torque from the race gear to the output hubs.

Abstract: A vehicle tire includes tread blocks with a substantially-horizontal upper/top surface, a first pair of downward-sloping surfaces, a pair of horizontal shoulder surfaces, and a second pair of downward-sloping surfaces. The first pair of downward-sloping surfaces begins and slopes downward and outward from the upper/top surface. Each of the horizontal shoulder surfaces begins and extends outward from one of said first pair of downward-sloping surfaces. The second pair of downward-sloping surfaces begins and slopes downward and outward from the horizontal shoulder surfaces.
Abstract: Certain embodiments of the present disclosure describe a clip for biasing and maintaining rollers within an opening of the roller bearing assembly. The clip includes a connecting segment, a resilient portion, and an anchor portion. The clip may be attached to a roll cage with openings for rollers. The resilient portion of the clip extends into an opening and contacts the roller when a roller is received in the opening. The anchor portion is positioned in an adjacent opening and abuts the roll cage.
