Patents Assigned to Suspa Compart AG
  • Patent number: 5388677
Abstract: In a unit of a piston and a piston rod, a piston and a piston rod are connected with each other in a gas-proof manner. To this end, the piston has a closed bottom and a blind hole, into which a sleeve-shaped section of the piston rod is pushed. By means of a force being applied between the piston and the piston rod, the sleeve-shaped section is provided with a bulging which projects into an annular groove of the blind hole. This serves to attain a connection of the piston and the piston rod by form locking.

  • Patent number: 5339933
Abstract: A crash damper for vehicles comprises two securing elements, by way of which it can be secured to the bumper on the one hand and to the body of the vehicle on the other hand. In order to be able to compensate manufacturing tolerances of the body of the vehicle, an adjustment device is provided for adjusting the distance between the securing elements.

  • Patent number: 5295564
Abstract: A frictional damper, in particular for washing machines with spinning action, comprises a circular cylindrical housing and a tappet which is coaxially displaceable inside the housing and extends out of it with one end, the other end being provided with a friction piston. The friction piston has at least one friction coating made of an elastically resilient material and is provided with a grease storage chamber. In order to prevent a decrease of damping because of change from lubricated to dry friction and in order not to disturb the friction proportions between friction coating and inner wall of the housing, the grease storage chamber is provided within the friction piston and is connected by way of at least one grease channel with a grease chamber which is formed at the outer circumference of the friction piston and which is open towards the inner wall of the housing.

  • Patent number: 5181589
Abstract: A reversible impact damper is in series with an additionally provided irreversible deformation damper. The impact damper is a usual solid damper. The deformation damper has a deformation piston bearing against a piston rod of the impact damper on the one hand and on the other hand against crimps, which are formed in the wall of a slide tube displaceable relative to the housing of the impact damper and which are deformable.

  • Patent number: 5096029
Abstract: A longitudinally controllable adjustment device, in particular a gas spring partially filled with a fluid, has a piston disposed on a piston rod and a valve, inside of which a valve body is slidable in its longitudinal direction. It has a tapered section by which a seal, abutting on a sealing face, can be bridged. In order to make possible a long-stroke embodiment and a short-stroke embodiment, the seal has two sealing beads, of which the one sealing bead sealingly abuts in all embodiments against a truncated cone-like sealing face of the valve body, while the other sealing bead, if required, abuts on an optionally provided additional cylindrical sealing face between the truncated cone-like sealing face and the tapered section.
