Abstract: An obstacle detection stopping device of a solar radiation shielding apparatus capable of suppressing the wear of a lifting cord due to the contact of a slat with the lifting cord. The obstacle detection stopping device (10) comprises a support member (11), a rotary drum (13), a cam clutch (12), and a winding pulley (9). A drive shaft (8) is passed through the inside of the device. A rotating force in the unwinding direction is transmitted to the drive shaft (8) by a tension applied to the winding pulley (9). The rotary drum (13) is integrally fitted to the drive shaft (8), and the cam clutch (12) is fitted to the outer edge thereof so as to be rotated relative to each other. Based on the relative rotation of the cam clutch (12) to the rotary drum (13), the cam clutch (12) is moved along its axial direction to change the state of its engagement with a braking projected part (11g). The cam clutch (12) is installed so as to be non-rotated relative to the winding pulley (9).

  • Patent number: 5186426
Abstract: Disclosed is a fixture structure for fixing a rail member to an attaching surface, such as a wall. The frame to be attached to the attaching surface has a first support for supporting a first attaching piece of a rail member. The slide block, attached slidable to the frame, has a second support for supporting a second attaching piece of the rail member. The slide block slides between a supporting position where the second support can support the second attaching piece and a releasing position where the second support releases the second attaching piece. A spring is provided to urge the slide block toward the support position. The slide block has an actuating piece whose position can be changed to a direction different from a direction of the slide block sliding. When the slide block is shifted to the release position, the actuating piece engages with a part of the frame to hold the slide block at that position.

  • Patent number: 5167269
Abstract: An improved winding apparatus for a roller blind is disclosed. The winding apparatus includes a clutch mechanism provided between the winding roller and the cord pulley for transmitting rotation of the pulley to rotation of the winding roller. The clutch mechanism is arranged to prevent the urging mechanism from rotating the winding roller when the cord is not handled. It also allows the pulley to rotate a predetermined angle in a screen lifting direction when the cord is operated to lift the screen. At this point, the urging mechanism is permitted to rotate the winding roller in the screen lifting direction. Additionally, when the pulley is rotated by the cord in a screen lowering direction the pulley is first allowed to rotate freely for a predetermined angle. Thereafter, the screen lowering motion of the cord is transmitted through said pulley to said winding roller to lower the screen.

  • Patent number: 5103888
Abstract: A pair of lifting cords are connected to a bottom rail at their lower ends and are connected to ends of a head box at their upper ends so as to lift and lower the slats of a blind. A pair of winding drums are provided in the head box which rotate together and move in the longitudinal direction of the head box. The lifting cords are introduced into the head box at the ends thereof. The lifting cords are guided so as to extend in the moving direction of the winding drums and are fitted to the wind starting ends of the winding drums. The moving ranges of the winding drums are set inside relative to the lifting cord introducing portions. As the winding drums rotate, the lifting cords are wound around the outer periphery of the winding drums. As the lifting cords are wound, the slats are lifted and lowered.
