    Abstract: To treat organic sludge while keeping facility costs, cement production efficiency, and a reduction in clinker production amount to a minimum. An organic sludge treatment device includes: a fractionation device 7 that fractionates a preheated raw material R2 from a preheater cyclone 4C excluding a bottommost cyclone of a cement burning device 1; a mixing device 8 that mixes an organic sludge S with the fractionated preheated raw material, and that dries the organic sludge using sensible heat of the preheated raw material; and a supply device (mixture chute 12, double-flap damper 13, shut damper 14) that supplies a mixture M from the mixing device to a calciner furnace 5 of the cement burning device or to a duct disposed between a kiln inlet portion of a cement kiln 2 and the calciner furnace.

    Abstract: An apparatus for reducing mercury content of cement kiln exhaust gas 11 comprising: a mixing and heating device 19 for mixing cement kiln dusts D2, D4 included in a cement kiln combustion exhaust gas G1 into a cement raw material R2 withdrawn from a cyclone 4C (or 4B) other than the highest stage cyclone 4D and the lowest stage cyclone 4A of a preheater 4 for preheating cement raw material R1 while heating the cement kiln dusts D2, D4 through sensible heat of the cement raw material R2; a mercury recovery device 21 for recovering mercury Hg vaporized from the cement kiln dusts D2, D4 by the mixing and heating; and a feeder for feeding mercury-removed dusts D5, D6 discharged from the mixing and heating device 19 to a cyclone 4B (or 4A) positioning at a lower stage from the cyclone 4C (or 4B) from which the cement raw material R2 is withdrawn.

    Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide an electric dust collector with its dust collecting performance being improved for collecting dust-like particles contained in a gas, whereas the increase in size thereof is being suppressed. An electric dust collector 10 distributes a gas G that has flown into a distribution chamber 90 to a plurality of charging flow paths 58 in a casing 12 thereof, causes the distributed gas to flow from insides of the charging flow paths 58 into internal flow paths 28 through mesh filters 30 that are formed as parts of the dust collecting electrodes 16 and that have large surface areas per unit volume. Then, the gas G is discharged to a central chamber 33 through internal outlets 32. Subsequently, the flow of the gas G is controlled to be discharged to the outside through a gas outlet 24.
