Abstract: A ventilator for a refrigerator which comprises a first frame inserted into a ventilation hole provided in a wall panel of a refrigerator, a second frame inserted into the ventilation hole from the outside of the refrigerator, and a mounting base provided with a valve plate and a valve body. The first and second frames are coupled together with their respective extension portions fitted together. The orientation of mounting of the mounting base in the first frame is varied for using the ventilator either for discharge or for intake of air.
Abstract: A disc type cylinder lock comprises an outer cylinder; an inner cylinder fitted in the outer cylinder; locking tumbler discs inserted in the inner cylinder; a positioning disc slightly movable within inner cylinder; a key insertable into key-holes of the locking tumbler discs and the positioning disc; and a side bar disposed between the outer cylinder and the peripheries of the locking tumbler discs and the positioning disc. The positioning disc has a protrudent piece which is able to enter and escape from a receiving hole formed in the inner cylinder. The key-hole of the positioning disc is longer in a radial direction than the key-holes of the locking tumbler discs. The positioning disc has a projection on the periphery of the key-hole. The key has a longitudinal guide groove and a recess at the terminal of the guide groove. When the key is initially after full insertion thereof, a through-groove is formed by aligned notches of the locking tumbler discs and the positioning disc.
Abstract: A door fitting device capable of adjusting an axis of rotation and torque, which makes it possible to connect easily a torsion bar and a worm wheel and to engage the worm wheel with a worm. The door fitting device itself can be assembled easily and rapidly in parallel with fitting of the door to an upper and lower frame.
Abstract: A door handle device unlockable from indoor side of refrigerators, which device enables a person trapped in a refrigerator by accident to escape therefrom speedily by a simple operation. This handle device comprises a handle unit fastened to a door, and a latch receiver unit fastened to a wall of a refrigerator. The handle unit consists of the fixed seat attached to the door, a movable body connected to the fixed seat by a pivot, a latch member, and an operating handle for driving the latch member. The door handle device also has a setting bolt, an operating portion is positioned in the inside of the refrigerator. The setting bolt is inserted into a threaded bore provided in a rear portion of the movable body to fix the movable body to the door. The trapped person has only to turn the operating portion of the setting bolt to take out the bolt from the threaded bore and thereby permit the movable body to pivot and release the latch member from the latch receiver unit and then open the door.
