Abstract: Analyte monitoring systems and methods that make interstitial fluid from a patient's body available to one or more sensors disposed outside the patient's body. The monitoring systems and methods may be used in conjunction with medicament dispensing systems and methods in order to provide a feedback loop for continuous sensing of analyte levels and corresponding dispensing of medicament based on sensed analyte levels. Dispensing or pumping systems or portions thereof may be used to move a patient's interstitial fluid into communication with the one or more sensors.
