Abstract: A roller tool for use in plasterboard finishing is disclosed. The tool has a first wing and a second wing, and an edge portion of the first wing is pivotably connected to an edge portion of the second wing. The tool also has one or more first wing rollers connected to, and able to pivot/roll relative to, the first wing, and one or more second wing rollers connected to, and able to pivot/roll relative to, the second wing. In use, the tool can be pressed against surfaces on respective sides of a joint or line between adjacent plasterboard panels, such that the first wing roller(s) contact with the surface on one side of the joint or line and the second wing roller(s) contact with the surface on the other side of the joint or line.

Abstract: An apparatus for use in drywall plastering, and more specifically for applying a pumpable finishing compound to a surface, is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a receptacle for storing the pumpable compound, an applicator for applying the compound to a surface or feature to which the compound is to be applied, a pump for pumping the compound from the receptacle to the applicator for application to the surface or feature, an electric motor which drives the pump, a battery that powers the electric motor, and a conduit through which the compound is pumped from the receptacle to the applicator, and the receptacle, pump, motor and battery of the apparatus may be able to be worn by a user, or carried on a part of the user’s body, while the apparatus is in use for applying the compound to the surface or feature.

Abstract: An adjustable inside applicator including an attachment body to attach the applicator to a source of compound to be applied to a joint, the attachment body having a bore including an inlet and at least two outlets, a pair of faces angularly disposed relative to one another with at least one outlet located in each of the pair of faces, and a pair of floating application guide heads mounted pivotably to the attachment body and biased towards a straight angle between the floating application guide heads but movable against the bias into an angle which is less than straight, each floating application guide head having an opening therein in communication with a respective at least one outlet of the body.

Abstract: An adjustable attachment for an applicator box to attach a handle, the adjustable attachment including a mounting plate for attachment to the applicator box having raised portion defining an enclosure between the raised portion and the application box, the enclosure accessible from at least one side, and attachment portion to attach to the handle, and a clamping assembly to clamp the attachment portion to the mounting plate and including at least one threaded member associated with a thumbwheel, rotation of the thumbwheel moving the clamping assembly between a clean condition which at least temporarily fixes the application box and handle relative to one another and a free condition in which the applicator box and handle are movable in relation to one another.
