Abstract: A fluid-filled punching bag assembly includes an inflatable bag and a sensor assembly cooperable with the inflatable bag. The sensor assembly includes an impact sensor that is configured to detect impact with the inflatable bag. A processor communicating with the sensor assembly is programmed to process sensor data from the impact sensor.
Abstract: A windshield assembly includes a laminated windshield provided with a cutout and a motor mounting plate secured to the laminated windshield over the cutout. The motor mounting plate includes a first mounting area. An exterior motor cover plate is secured on an exterior side of the laminated windshield and overlays the cutout in facing relation with the motor mounting plate. The exterior motor cover includes a second mounting area in alignment with the first mounting area. The structure distributes forces encountered by the wiper and motor over a large area on the glass. Also, due to a small footprint, the view through the windshield is less obstructed. The structure also eliminates the need for drilling/aligning holes in laminated glass.
Abstract: A life ring includes a cover formed of a knitted back polyester fabric with a top vinyl coating, and a urethane foam core within the cover. The cover and the urethane foam core are formed into a ring shape. By using the noted cover material, the life ring can be manufactured without a painting step, thereby reducing manufacturing costs and improving the consistency of the finished product.
Abstract: A self-supporting bimini top frame is independently supportable on four contact points. A main bow defines a first support member for a bimini top connectable to the bimini top frame. The main bow defines first and second contact points. A pair of stanchions are pivotably connected to the main bow and define third and fourth contact points. A primary tension bow is pivotably and slidably connected to the main bow and defines a second support member for the bimini top. A bimini top may also be secured on the bimini top frame.
Abstract: A tubing member includes an outer periphery delimiting a tubing interior and a slot opening therein. A channel is positioned adjacent the slot opening in the tubing interior and is integral with the outer periphery. The channel is accessible via the slot opening.
Abstract: A boat windshield with a walk-through door includes a fixed panel framework attachable to a boat and a sliding door panel coupled to and cooperable with the fixed panel framework. The sliding door panel is displaceable between an open position and a closed position. The sliding door panel is provided with top and bottom traveler cars mounted for displacement on tracks secured to the fixed panel framework frame. A roller post may be positioned adjacent a bottom edge of the fixed panel framework that supports the sliding door panel during displacement between the open and closed positions.
Abstract: A keel guard is comprised of a strip of PVC material having a length and a width. An alignment section is positioned along the length of the strip that is visible through the PVC material. The alignment section, which may be a groove for engaging the keel, facilitates installation and enables the installer to maintain the desired straightness along the entire installed length. Additionally, the see-through PVC material reveals any trapped air bubbles between the keel guard and the hull, enabling the are bubbles to be more easily removed, thereby providing a stronger, more uniform bond.
Abstract: A boat fender includes a vinyl fender core that is sized and shaped for suspension adjacent a boat exterior to protect the boat exterior from damage resulting from impact with an obstacle. An integrated cover is secured to the fender core, such as by flocking.
Abstract: A cover system for a boat includes a bimini frame securable to the boat and displaceable among an open position, a storage position, and a cover position. A flexible top is coupled with the bimini frame, and a cover is positionable over the bimini frame with the bimini frame in the cover position. The bimini frame thus functions as a support structure for a mooring or trailering cover. With the described bimini frame, one cover size can fit multiple seating and deck configurations without the need for a separate cover design for the various configurations.
Abstract: A retractable roof includes a pair of tracks oriented lengthwise along opposite sides of an opening, a plurality of traveler cars displaceable on the tracks manually or by motor, and a plurality of bows coupled with the traveler cars and extending between the tracks and across the opening. The bows are displaceable with the traveler cars between a closed position and an opened position. A roof material sized to cover the opening is secured to the bows.

Abstract: An adjustable hinge assembly for connecting a moving part to a frame includes a first part secured to the frame and including an insert channel, and a second part secured to the moving part and including a shaft. An eccentric insert is positioned in the insert channel and is rotatable in the insert channel. The eccentric insert includes an offset channel at an end facing the second part, and the shaft of the second part is disposed in the offset channel. By rotating the eccentric part in the insert channel, a relative position of the moving part to the frame can be adjusted.
Abstract: A windshield assembly includes a laminated windshield provided with a cutout and a motor mounting plate secured to the laminated windshield over the cutout. The motor mounting plate includes a mounting hole, and a wiper motor is secured to the motor mounting plate via the mounting hole. The structure distributes forces encountered by the wiper and motor over a large area on the glass. Also, due to a small footprint, the view through the windshield is less obstructed. The structure also eliminates the need for drilling/aligning holes in laminated glass.
Abstract: A fastener attachment includes a main panel, a fastener component secured on one side of the main panel, and a channel cooperable with the main panel and extending from an opposite side of the main panel. The fastener attachment may be attachable to a boat windshield and provides an easily securable fastener component so that a cover or the like can be secured over the windshield.
