    Abstract: A good tasting rehydration beverage is disclosed that is free of calories and that when consumed during exercise, provides proper rehydration and the correct isotonic concentration to maintain optimum performance and good health. The rehydration beverage also provides the consumer with electrolytes, nutrients, and energy that may be lost during physical exertion, or to those lacking these vital nutrients. The rehydration beverage is free of sugar and carbohydrates and therefore contains no calories.
