Patents Assigned to Tech Group Europe Limited
  • Patent number: 9314575
Abstract: The device comprises a syringe (10, 11, 12) and safety means comprising a protective sheath (16) capable of adopting, relative to the syringe body, both an injection configuration in which the syringe needle (11) projects beyond said sheath, and a protection configuration in which the needle extends inside the sheath. The device includes a trigger member (30) enabling it to pass from the injection configuration to the protection configuration at the end of the injection stroke. It comprises means (34) for defining a first end-of-injection-stroke situation in which the trigger member (30) is unsuitable for causing the device to pass from the injection configuration to the protection configuration, and a second end-of-injection-stroke situation in which such passage is possible.

  • Patent number: 9220848
Abstract: The invention relates to a device comprising a syringe body (10) having an axial direction (A) and a bearing sleeve (18) inside which the body is arranged. The sleeve has at least one holding lug (22) co-operating with the syringe body, at a proximal end (10A) of the latter, in order to hold the body in relation to the sleeve. Said proximal end is fixed to a wedging surface (42) having radial crenulations forming dips (42B) and bumps (42A) and the holding lug is inserted into a dip in order to prevent a relative rotation of the syringe body (10) and the sleeve perpendicularly to the axial direction.

  • Patent number: 9050416
Abstract: A needle safety device includes a sleeve having proximal and distal portions separated by a radially-inwardly projecting ledge. A ring in the proximal portion is movable between a first position spaced from the ledge, and a second position adjacent to or abutting the ledge. A shield with at least one radially deformable tab receives the syringe and is movable in the sleeve between an initial position with the tab adjacent to or abutting the ledge, an injection position with the tab spaced from the ledge, and a protection position with the tab located distally from the ledge. The tab, during movement between initial and injection positions, deforms inwardly and traverses the inner surface of the ring, and during movement between injection and protection positions, translates with the ring from the first to the second position, and subsequently deforms inwardly and traverses the inner surface of the ring and the ledge.

  • Patent number: 9022990
Abstract: A needle safety shield 10 for use with a syringe 10 having a barrel 14, a needle and a plunger rod 16. The safety shield 10 has a first tube 22. A second tube 26 is arranged for sliding movement within the first tube 22. A pin 46 is connected to one of the first and second tubes 22, 26. An activation ring 32 has a stop 72. A drive spring 34 biases the activation ring 32 in a proximal direction to place the stop 72 in engagement with the pin 46 to retain the first and second tubes 22, 26 in a retracted configuration. The movement of the plunger rod 16 to engage the activation ring 32 compresses the drive spring 34, moving the activation ring 32 distally, and moving the stop 72 out of engagement with the pin 46, allowing the drive spring 34 to move the first and second tubes 22, 26 into an extended configuration.

  • Patent number: 8845595
Abstract: The needle protection device comprises: a protector support (20), defining an introduction duct for a syringe body, a needle protector (22) which may be displaced relative to the protector support (20), between a retracted position and a deployed position, a compression spring (24), applied between the protector support (20) and the needle protector (22) and initial retaining means (38, 40, 54) for the needle protector (22) against the force of the compressed spring (24), said means (38, 40, 54) being released by displacement of the needle protector (22) in a release direction with relation to the protector support (20). The device further comprises mechanical locking means (56) for the needle protector (22) with relation to the protector support (20) in the release direction in the absence of a syringe body in the protector support duct and said mechanical locking means (56) may be deactivated by engaging a syringe body in the duct on the protector support (20).

  • Patent number: 7959740
Abstract: The polisher shuttle serves to polish the inside walls of cylindrical tubes, in particular tubes for medical use. It comprises radial projections that are flexible along the axial direction, suitable for polishing the inside walls of tubes merely by relative movement between the shuttle and the tube, the shuttle passing inside the tube. In a longitudinal section, the sections of the projections form a series of separate undulations that are long and thin in the radial direction. The polishing method made possible by the shuttle is particularly simple, since a single pass of the shuttle can suffice for performing polishing; the method is thus fast and easy to automate, e.g. in a polisher device of the invention.
