Patents Assigned to Tecumseh Europe S.A.
  • Publication number: 20070164620
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for connecting an end (4) of at least one winding wire of a fixed winding (2) and an end (8) of at least one supply wire supplying power to the winding (2). The device comprises non-removable electrical-connection means (7) for connecting the end (4) of the single-strand wire and the end (8) of the multi-strand wire, and a storage case (10) for storing the connecting means (7). The invention also relates to a method for implementing the device, consisting in: storing the connecting means (7) in the storage case (10), then closing the storage case (10).

  • Patent number: 6820644
Abstract: A delivery valve device for a refrigerant compressor. The delivery valve device include a valve plate with the delivery passage closed by a delivery valve fixed at one end to the valve plate and pressed against this valve plate at its free end by a spring. A valve stop is fixed with the delivery valve and the spring to the valve plate to clamp one end of the delivery valve and of the spring onto the valve plate using rivets. The sliding contact of the free end of the delivery valve on the plate avoids valve bounce and flutter. Such a delivery valve may reduce the noise level in refrigeration compressors.

  • Patent number: 6796331
Abstract: A delivery valve device for a fluid compressor. The device includes a valve plate with a delivery passage closed by a delivery valve pressed against the valve plate by a spring. The valve plate includes an inset housing to accommodate the delivery valve and the spring, the housing having a shape tailored to the delivery valve and spring to hold the delivery valve and spring in position, and to prevent the delivery valve and spring from rotating. Such a delivery valve can be applied in particular to refrigerant compressors.

  • Patent number: 5979597
Abstract: An inlet silencer system for a refrigeration motor-compressor set. An inlet silencer is formed by a casing separated by a wall into two chambers which are coupled to each other by a coupling tube. A lid bearing an intake tube introduces refrigerant gas into the first chamber and a lead-in pipe connects the second chamber to the suction part of the cylinder head. The ratio by volume between the two chambers is in the order of 1. This ratio is determined to obtain a diminishing of the acoustic energy in the range of a frequency of 500 Hz. Furthermore, a chamber which is parallel connected on the suction path is used as a resonator to improve the attenuation and the acoustic spectrum. This device can be used on low-power, hermetically sealed, single-cylinder, alternating motor-compressor sets.
