Abstract: A method is implemented by a computing device for helping a particular user use a user interface (UI). Electroencephalography (EEG) data is obtained that indicates brain activity of a particular user during a period in which that user views the UI and/or interprets help information that describes how to use the UI. Based on the EEG data, the computing device selects, from among multiple predefined cognitive states, the one or more cognitive states that characterize the particular user during the period. The computing device assists the particular user to use the UI by customizing the help information for the particular user based on the one or more selected cognitive states. A complementary computing device and computer program product are also disclosed.

Abstract: A management node (100) obtains indications of network events occurring at a plurality of nodes (210-1, 210-2, 210-3, 210-4, 220-1, 220-2 , 230-1, 230-2) of the communication network. Further, the management node (100) performs a correlation of times of the indicated network events. On the basis of the correlation, the management node (100) identifies clusters of nodes (210-1, 210-2 , 210-3, 210-4, 220-1, 220-2, 230-1, 230-2) with correlated network events. On the basis of the clusters, the management node (100) determines a topology model of the communication network.
Abstract: Transmission of broadcast streams in multiple sectors is synchronized based on time stamps or sequence numbers in data packets received at the base station. The base stations use the time stamps to calculate a frame transmission start time and start position for the data packets. The base station monitors the packet latency of data within its buffer based on the time stamp in the data packets and initiates a resynchronization procedure if the packet latency exceeds predetermined bounds.

Abstract: An arrangement and a method for minimizing intracell and/or intercell interference for a data transmission system comprises a scheduler (2). A first base station (BS) receives information from user equipments (UE1-UE4) in a first cell (1) by means of a first antenna system (Rx, Tx). The scheduler (2) identifies the position of each user and allots a first time slot (TS1) to at least one user equipment (UE1) in a first cell segment (CS1) in the first cell (1). The scheduler (2) also allots the first time slot to at least one user (UE3) equipment in a second cell segment (CS2) in the first cell (1). The antenna system (Rx, Tx) then sends information from the base station (BS) simultaneously to all user equipments (UE1, UE3) allotted to the first time slot.
