Patents Assigned to TENSCON LIMITED
  • Patent number: 9933004
Abstract: The present invention provides improved load-indicating devices for use with structural assemblies that require accurate tensioning of fastening components such as nuts and bolts. In one embodiment, the load-indicating device comprises a body portion defining a bore extending therethrough, a movable member disposed in at least part of the body portion and configured to move in a direction substantially orthogonal to the axis of the bore, and an adjustment means coupled to the movable member and operable to displace the movable member when the body portion is compressed.

  • Patent number: 9612172
Abstract: The present invention provides a load-indicating device for use with structural assemblies that have fastening components such as nuts and bolts. The load-indicating device comprising a washer having a tubular body defining a bore extending therethrough, the body comprising at least one hole extending at least partially through the body; and a probe configured to be disposed within the at least one hole and operable to provide an indication of the compression on the washer, such that, in use, the washer deflects to compress the hole against the probe when the load on the washer reaches a predetermined tension.
