  • Patent number: 10055089
Abstract: A device for managing image and audio files displays thumbnails, which are representative of the files, on a screen in different arrangements, depending on the selected layout and order. When the user enters input to indicates that he or she wishes to browse through the thumbnails, the thumbnails move across the screen in sequence, following a path through a focus outline in the center of the screen. The path followed by the thumbnails depends on the selected layout.

  • Patent number: 9807201
Abstract: An information delivery system, an information delivery method, an information processing apparatus, and an information processing method is used advantageously to deliver content stream data easily, reliably and inexpensively to the general users. A personal computer prepares a content file and an order form file using software provided by a center system, and transmits the prepared files to the center system over the Internet. Given the order form file from a customer device, the center system encodes a content file accordingly to generate content stream data and causes a moving picture delivery server to deliver the generated stream data to user terminals. This invention can be applied, among others, to systems for delivering content data over the Internet.

  • Patent number: 9602873
Abstract: In a data providing server, whether or not specified compressed content data generated by means of a specified compression coding method corresponding to terminal identification information has been stored in a content database is detected, according to content specifying data transmitted from a portable dedicated terminal. If the specified compressed content data has been stored, the data providing server reads and transmits this to the portable dedicated terminal. And if the specified compressed content data has not been stored, the data providing server generates the specified compressed content data by means of the specified compression coding method, and transmits this to the portable dedicated terminal.

  • Patent number: 9076700
Abstract: In a semiconductor device in which a plurality of semiconductor chips are stacked, performance is enhanced without deteriorating productivity. The semiconductor device has a plurality of elements, an interlayer insulating film, a pad, and a bump electrode electrically connected with the pad sequentially formed on a main surface of a silicon substrate and has a back-surface electrode formed on a back surface of the silicon substrate and electrically connected with the bump electrode. The bump electrode has a protruding portion penetrating through the pad and protruding toward the silicon substrate side. The back-surface electrode is formed so as to reach the protruding portion of the bump electrode from the back surface side of the silicon substrate toward the main surface side and to cover the inside of a back-surface electrode hole portion which does not reach the pad, so that the back-surface electrode is electrically connected with the bump electrode.

  • Patent number: RE45698
Abstract: A semiconductor memory device which can reduce the size of a memory cell and increase the packing density is disclosed. Each memory cell comprises a p-type active region, an n-type active region, two word lines, a common gate line and a common gate line. Two memory cells are deviated by, for example, an amount of a half bit in the direction which perpendicularly crosses the word line direction. The memory cells are arranged with one of their parts overlapped with one another in the word line direction. Thus, the size of the memory cell can be reduced in the word line direction.
