  • Patent number: 7287367
Abstract: A closing member 1 for compressed air carrying polygonal tubes, which is inserted in a sealing manner into the polygonal tube at one end thereof. The closing member 1 includes an elastic sealing element 3, and the closing member is constructed such that it biases in its inserted state the sealing element 3 in such a manner that it seals and secures the closing member 1 relative to the polygonal tube 8. Closing members of this type are used to seal mounting tubes in yarn spinning machines with pneumatically loaded top roller support and weighting arms.

  • Publication number: 20070140610
Abstract: The invention relates to a bearing device (1), for mounting a high-speed rotor, with a rotor bearing and a damping device. The rotor bearing comprises a bearing ring (6) and the damping device a damping inner sleeve (7). The bearing ring (6) is enclosed by the damping inner sleeve (7) and connected to the damping inner sleeve (7) for fixing, by means of a screw (11). The bearing ring (6) comprises an internal thread (10) in which the thread of the screw (11) engages. The damping inner sleeve (7) comprises an opening (14) which permits the free passage of the screw (11). A pressure distribution element (15) is provided on the damping inner sleeve (7) for housing the screw (11). The bearing device (1) serves for the mounting of spinning rotors (2) on open-end spinning devices. Said embodiment of the bearing device (1) facilitates assembly, adjustment and maintenance. The costs of the bearing device (1) are reduced.

  • Publication number: 20060150374
Abstract: A drafting arrangement for spinning groups with at least one upper roller carrier and weighting arm held by a machine frame in which clearer rollers are rotatably mounted on an axis and can shift in a guide of a bearing element transversely to their axis of rotation in such a manner on the upper roller carrier and weighting arm that they rest on the particular associated upper roller during the spinning process. At least one end of the axis of a clearer roller is designed with a holding device that extends behind the guide of the bearing element, which guide is designed as a connecting link guide.
