Abstract: An adjustable clothes hanger assembly is provided. The adjustable clothes hanger assembly has a substantially rigid frame with a pair of slanted rail segments that are in transverse relation to one another. The assembly also has a pair of shoulder segments, each shoulder segment slidably disposed on a corresponding rail segment. Each shoulder segment is slidable on the corresponding rail segment between a collapsed position and an at least partially extended position, providing adjustable hanger width.

Abstract: An automated hair removal system is provided. The system includes a handheld device having an electric motor for rotating an attachment holder, the attachment holder including a head attachment mechanism for receiving an attachment head. The system further includes an attachment head having a contact surface configured for skin contact, the attachment head further having a holder attachment mechanism for detachably attaching the attachment head to the attachment holder. Rotation of the attachment holder by the electric motor causes rotation of the attachment head and the contact surface, and wherein rotation of the contact surface upon placement against the skin essentially in parallel to the skin and transverse to hair thereon, removes hair from the skin by tapering and weakening the structure of the hair.

Abstract: In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a compact food processing apparatus for tumbling pieces of meat or other food in the presence of a marinade in an enclosed, sealed container (10) under a vacuum. The container (10) includes interiorly directed projections to tumble and turn the food during rotation of the container and a tenderizer which is separate from the container (10) and interfits into formations on the inside wall of the container to support the tenderizer along the length thereof. The container (10) has a closed end (6) and an open end (7) and a lid (20) to sealingly interfit into the open end to facilitate the creation of a vacuum within the container (10). The lid (20) has a one way valve which cooperates with a hand pump (50) to allow the pump (50) to create a vacuum within the container.

Abstract: A multi-functional food processing, preparation and juicing unit includes an elongated hollow post fixed to a base and extending vertically therefrom. A pressure assembly is movably mounted to the post and configured to removably accept an upper processing adapter having a predetermined surface configuration. The pressure assembly includes a rack residing within the post and having a plurality of teeth. A rotatable crank assembly includes a gear extending into the post which engages the teeth of the rack for raising and lowering the pressure assembly by rotating a handle operably engaged with the gear. A holder is fixed to an upper end of the base, and is configured to releasably accept a lower processing adapter having a surface configuration which substantially mates with the surface configuration of the upper processing adapter to perform a predetermined food processing function when the upper processing adapter is brought towards the lower processing adapter.

Abstract: A system for attaching a food processing adapter to a food processing unit includes an upper processing adapter attached to a pressure assembly of the unit, and a lower processing adapter attached to a holder at a base of the unit. The holder includes a first slot extending horizontally into a top portion of the holder, and a second slot opposite the first slot and extending vertically into the holder. A first tab extends horizontally from the lower processing adapter and is configured to be inserted into the first slot. A second tab extends vertically from the lower processing adapter so as to be inserted into the second slot. A locking mechanism is configured to releaseably lock the second tab in place to prevent movement of the lower processing adapter during operation of the food processing unit.
