Abstract: Provided is a key locator comprising a) a bent rod-shaped first member having opposing first and second end portions and b) a second member that selectively retains keys. The first member incorporates a bent interior region between the end portions. The end portions are not urged against each other and allow the bent interior region to hang from or clasp to an edge. The first end portion substantially permanently and flexibly engages with the second member. In one embodiment, the second end portion is substantially rigidly affixed to the key locator such that container movement necessarily causes key locator movement. In another embodiment, the container is rotatably mounted to the second end portion and comprises a hinge that attaches a first face to the container. The first face moves between an open configuration that exposes an interior portion of the container and a closed configuration that seals the interior portion.

Abstract: A key locator includes first and second members. The first member has opposed ends and an intermediate u-shaped region. One of the ends of the first member comprises a hook for engaging the second member which includes a clasp while the other end comprises an enlarged portion for fixing an ornament thereto. The arrangement is suitable for hanging at the open top of a bag-like device such as a purse, backpack or briefcase whereby the ornament is displayed at the same time that the keys are readily accessible without undue fishing efforts.

Abstract: An apparatus comprising first and second elements and a connecting element is provided. The first element comprises a first terminal member, an intermediate member having first and second ends, and a second terminal member having a closed form channel. The connecting element goes through the channel thereby engaging the first and second elements. An axis connects the first terminal member and the intermediate member first end permitting a closed position, in which the first terminal member adjoins the intermediate member, and an open position, in which the first terminal member is away from the intermediate member. Another axis connects the second terminal member and the intermediate member second end permitting a closed position, in which the second terminal member adjoins the intermediate member, and an open position, in which the second terminal member is away from the intermediate member. The second element retains an object.

The object locator further comprises a pouch that is configured for holding a mobile device. The pouch includes a close form element that substantially permanently and flexibly engages the second member. The bent rod-shaped first member incorporates a bent interior region between the first and second end portions. The first and second end portions are configured to allow the bent interior region to hang from or clasp an edge. The second end portion of the bent rod-shaped first member is configured for affixation of an ornament.
