  • Patent number: 11711699
Abstract: A provider system is connected to readers disposed at distances from the provider system. A secure local connection is established between the client device and the provider system via one of the readers. Before the client reaches an access touchpoint, the provider system receives from the client device a request for client access, the provider system sends to the client device a request for identification information of the client, and the client device sends client information associated with a first mobile identification credential (MIC) which the client device received from an authorizing party system (APS), the client having consented to release the client information to the provider system, and the client information having been verified. The provider system uses the verified client information associated with the first MIC to verify or not verify the identity of the client before granting or denying the request to the client.

  • Patent number: 11701296
Abstract: A method for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) includes supplying an inflation gas at an operative pressure to an inflation actuated soft gripper device to change form from an undeployed state to a deployed grip state that accommodates and grips a human torso. The inflation actuated soft gripper device includes a first inflatable gripper arm having a first distal end and a second inflatable gripper arm having a second distal end. The first distal end and the second distal end approach one another from the undeployed state to the deployed grip state. The first and second distal ends are spaced apart from one another further in the undeployed state than in the deployed grip state. An actuator power and a CPR control signal are delivered to a CPR pressure application device to cyclically extend and retract a pressure applicator along an axis in alignment with a sternum of the human torso.

  • Publication number: 20230224712
Abstract: In an example, a provider system receives from a client device a request for client sign-on access. The provider system sends to the client device a request for identification information of the client. The provider system receives client information associated with a first mobile identification credential (MIC) which the client device received from an authorizing party system (APS), the client having consented to release the client information to the provider system, and the client information having been verified by the APS. The provider system uses the verified client information associated with the first MIC to verify or not verify the identity of the client. The provider system verifies the identity of the client before granting the client the request for client sign-on access.

  • Publication number: 20230218226
Abstract: In an example, a method of detecting cyanide exposure of an individual includes: measuring a thiocyanate level of the individual which includes placing saliva of the individual in contact with a chemical indicator to measure the thiocyanate level and measuring thiocyanate (SCN?) catalyzed by enzyme rhodanese of the individual; comparing the measured thiocyanate level to a preset thiocyanate threshold to determine whether the measured thiocyanate level is above the preset thiocyanate threshold indicating a level of cyanide poisoning for which a medical procedure is recommended to manage health effects of the exposure; and performing the medical procedure if the measured thiocyanate level is above the preset thiocyanate threshold and not performing the medical procedure if the measured thiocyanate level is not above the preset thiocyanate threshold.

  • Publication number: 20230202943
Abstract: Various embodiments of the present invention are directed towards a simulant and method relating to producing a simulant. For example, a simulant of a textured target threat includes a background material associated with a background attenuation, and a texture component(s) dispersed in the background material and associated with a component attenuation and a component characteristic. The component characteristic prevents the component attenuation of the texture component from being homogeneously dispersed throughout the background attenuation of the background material, to cause the simulant to mimic an aspect(s) of an X-ray signature of the textured target threat.

  • Publication number: 20230186216
Abstract: A method includes receiving distributed sensing information on one or more characteristics associated with a subject from distributed sensors distributed between a starting location spaced from a resolution location and the resolution location. If the subject is sensed by the plurality of distributed sensors, in combination without any break in chain of custody (“COC”), the method does not adjust a reliability of the distributed sensing information caused by any break in COC. If there are one or more time gaps in the COC, the method determines one or more COC factors based on the time gaps and adjusts the reliability of the distributed sensing information based on the one or more COC factors. The method determines a trust score of the subject to assess security concern of the subject based on the distributed sensing information and the reliability thereof, and resolves the security concern based on the trust score.

  • Patent number: 11675886
Abstract: An apparatus verifies hosted information associated with a user. The apparatus establishes, by the online host serving as a relying party system (RPS), a secure connection between the RPS and a user mobile-identification-credential device (UMD). The RPS sends a mobile identification credential (MIC) user information request to the UMD, via the secure connection, seeking release of MIC user information (official information). The RPS obtains from authorizing party system (APS) verification of the MIC user information received in response to the MIC user information request. The RPS stores the MIC user information as hosted information pertaining to the user. The RPS designates the hosted information as base truth information representing the user.

  • Patent number: 11655051
Abstract: A bag unlocking method includes receiving, by a bag handling system, a bag during a check-in process. The bag handling system identifies, from a travel carrier system, traveler information corresponding to the bag. A securing device of the bag is programmed, using an unlock code pertaining to the traveler information. The bag handling system reads a bag tag of the bag at a baggage inspection station and determines the unlock code pertaining to the bag tag. The bag handling system transmits the unlock code to cause the securing device to unlock at the baggage inspection station.
