    Abstract: A push joint adapter is connectable to one or more push joint pipe fittings in a pipeline. The push joint adapter includes an insertion section insertable into a socket of a push joint pipe fitting in an interference fit, a pipeline section connectable with the pipeline, and a collar disposed between the insertion section and the pipeline section. A restraint ring assembly cooperable with the push joint pipe fitting includes a restraint ring secured to the pipeline section and engaging the collar and a restraint rod connected to the restraint ring. The push joint adapter facilitates connecting push joint gasketed bell gate valves and fittings in a pipeline such as a polyethylene pipeline.

    Abstract: A joint restraint includes a split ring terminating in radially outwardly extending flanges. A shell includes a cylindrical sleeve, an annular flange at one end and arms projecting generally tangentially for securement behind lugs on a standard bell end of a fitting. With the split ring disposed within the shell and flanges projecting through a radial opening through the shell, a pipe end may be inserted through the joint restraint into the bell. By compressing the split ring about the pipe end by drawing the flanges toward one another and bolting them in place, relative axial movement of the pipe end and fitting is precluded by engagement of the shell flange and split ring.

    Abstract: The quick coupler anchor includes an anchor body having a pair of vertical plates extending generally at right angles one to the other and spaced from one another. Planes containing the plates, when extended, intersect along a vertical line offset from the center axis of a valve received in a recess in a member connecting upper edges of the vertical extending plates. The recess has a plurality of flats for registration with the flats of the hex nut of the valve body. When the anchor is embedded in the ground with the recess about the hex nut, the anchor restrains rotational movement of the valve relative to the anchor in response to a torque applied to the valve to open or close the valve. The center of vertical support of the anchor lies generally coincident with the vertical axis of the valve to provide stability to the valve and anchor upon vertical loadings.

    Abstract: A pipe fitting coupling has a generally ring-shaped body with two pairs of diametrically opposed radially outwardly projecting lugs spaced 90.degree. one from the other. The coupling is interposed between the bells of pipe fittings to be joined, with each bell having only a pair of misaligned diametrically opposed lugs. The lugs on the coupling align with the misaligned lugs of the pipe fittings and restraints are disposed about the aligned lugs to secure the pipe fittings to one another.
