  • Patent number: 4953700
Abstract: A battery package includes a display card and a plastic casing rotatably mounted on the display card. The display card and the plastic casing define therebetween a plurality of compartments uniformly arranged in a circular path. Each of the compartments is provided for storing a battery. The display card includes a first panel having a conductive surface thereon and a second panel overlying the conductive surface of the first panel and having a non-conductive outer surface thereon. The second panel has an opening extending therethrough to expose a portion of the conductive surface of the first panel. The opening in the second panel is located relative to the circular path through which the batteries move so that at least one of the batteries in the circular path is partly in contact with the non-conductive surface and partly in contact with the conductive surface on the first panel.
