Abstract: In an embodiment, a transportable container may include a container portion with an opening into an interior space; a lid for closing the opening; a handle for carrying the container; and a pivotable side latch, pivotally connected to the lid, moveable between a retaining position and a storage position. The pivotable side latch may be configured to engage a retaining structure of another container when the pivotable side latch is in the retaining position. The pivotable side latch may be configured to be in a depression of the lid when the pivotable side latch is in the storage position. With the container in an upright position, the pivotable side latch may move toward the depression when the pivotable side latch is released from the retaining position. The container portion may include a retaining structure with an upward-projecting lip configured to engage a pivotable side latch of a further container.

The first and second housings are connected to the elongated portion, with the second housing spaced from the first housing. First and second pairs of folding legs are pivotally attached to the first and second housing respectively, pivotable between open and folded positions. The first housing comprises a receiving region for receiving a distal end of the second pair of legs when in the folded position, the first receiving region comprising a first latch arranged to engage the second pair of legs, and the second housing comprises a second receiving region for receiving a distal end of the first pair of legs when in the folded position, the second receiving region comprising a second latch arranged to engage the first pair of legs.

The sheet of metal material has opposite first and second connecting ends. A plastic connector is connected to the first connecting end and the second connecting end of the sheet metal, and a plastic bottom is connected with a bottom end of the peripheral wall. Another aspect provides a container that includes a sheet of metal having a louver formed therein and a plastic structure having opposing surfaces that define a receiving space therebetween. At least one of the surfaces has a projection thereon and the louver are received within the receiving space. An edge of the louver engages with the projection to prevent the louver from being removed from the receiving space.

The lid may be a one-piece lid which is attached to the base by a hinge at one side of the base. The tray may be slidingly attached to the base and the tray is free to slide over the hinge side of the base when the lid is in an open position.

Abstract: A portable work surface is convertible between mat and bag configurations, and includes a body with a central portion and a surrounding peripheral portion, with a cord threaded at least part way around the peripheral portion. The central and peripheral portions are configurable to define a substantially planar mat configuration. The cord is operable to fold the peripheral portion about the central portion to define a bag configuration where the central portion defines a bag base and the peripheral portion defines a bag wall. The peripheral portion comprises rigid members spanning the distance of the bag wall substantially between the central portion and the cord. In an embodiment, a cover may be hingedly connected to the body, foldable to straddle the peripheral portion in the bag configuration, and configurable to protrude proud of the planar mat configuration of the central portion and the peripheral portion.

The container has a container portion, a cover, and a latch member movable between a first position and a second position. A retaining member on the container portion is engageable with the latch member. In the first position, the latch member engages the retaining member to inhibit movement of the latch member away from the first position. In the second position, the latch member is engageable with a container portion of the other container to connect the containers. The latch member is pivotally movable in a clockwise and counterclockwise manner. The latch member can be pivoted upwards to the second position to engage the other container and the latch member can be pivoted downwards to the first position to engage the retaining member to inhibit movement of the latch member away from the first position.
