  • Publication number: 20160340446
Abstract: The purpose of the present invention is to provide a modified polymer that significantly reduces heat build-up due to the modification when the modified polymer is formed into a rubber composition, a rubber composition containing the modified polymer, and a pneumatic tire in which the rubber composition is used. The modified polymer of the present invention is a modified polymer obtained by modifying a styrene-conjugated diene copolymer (A) with a nitrone compound (B). In the modified polymer, the content of styrene units in the styrene-conjugated diene copolymer (A) is 10% by mass or greater, and the proportion of vinyl bonds among all the double bonds contained in the styrene-conjugated diene copolymer (A) is 5 mol % or greater.

  • Publication number: 20150053682
Abstract: A container for containing tire repair fluid is provided that does not require a protective cap provided with a perforating member for perforating a sealing film, and is capable of ensuring protection effect of the sealing film during storage as well as allowing perforating of the sealing film during tire repair. In the container for containing tire repair fluid of the present technology includes a liquid containing portion that contains a tire repair fluid, an opening connected to the liquid containing portion, and a sealing film that seals the opening. The container further includes a plate-like protective member larger in size than an internal diameter of the opening and held in a layered state on the sealing film, wherein the protective member, upon being folded, functions as a perforating tool for perforating the sealing film.

  • Patent number: 8034204
Abstract: Provided are a method and a device for efficiently separating and automatically removing a tire-building rigid core from the inside of the tire. After a core holding mechanism and upper and lower support plates are removed from a rigid core body that is disposed in the tire and composed of two types of segment groups, the tire is transferred onto a predetermined position on a support table, and positioned and fixed. Then, a first core separation/removal mechanism having been on standby below the center of the tire on the support table is raised to support the center of the inner wall surface of one type of the segment groups and horizontally pull the one type of the segment groups to the center side of the tire until it is separated from the inner surface of the tire. The separated segment group is lowered to the standby position below the center of the support table and is left on standby.
