Patent number: 9739060Abstract: A pre-engineered metal building configured to reduce air leakage through the shell of the building by providing an insulation system for fully sealing an enclosed space within the structural frame of the building. The insulation system includes a vapor barrier that defines the enclosed space, at least one insulation layer, and a continuous air barrier. Roof sheeting and side wall facing are attachable to the structural frame to form a shell about the building, and at least a portion of the insulation system is positioned between the shell and the structural frame.Type: GrantFiled: February 17, 2016Date of Patent: August 22, 2017Assignee: THERM-ALL, INCInventor: William D. Publication number: 20090025320Abstract: An adjustable door frame system includes at least one vertical frame member having a movable vertical subjamb assembly capable of outward movement relative the vertical frame member. The adjustable door frame system also contains a horizontal frame member having a movable horizontal subjamb assembly capable of outward movement relative the horizontal frame member. The door frame system also contains a plurality of adjusting mechanisms coupling the vertical subjamb assembly and horizontal subjamb assembly to the frame members. Each adjusting mechanism includes a hex nut connected to its subjamb assembly with a hex nut clip, and a hollow set screw and guide tube. Rotation of the hollow set screw causes the hex nut to move axially along the guide tube thereby causing the hex nut clip and its connected subjamb assembly to be adjusted outwardly with respect to the door frame system, thereby filling a gap between its frame member and the wall section.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 7, 2008Publication date: January 29, 2009Applicant: Therm-All, Inc.Inventors: Jeffrey P. Wagner, Joan Smigel

Patent number: 7008161Abstract: A material transport system for delivering and dispensing a large capacity of materials at a construction site using a plurality of removable carriages, each bearing a roll of material, mounted on a movable frame. The frame comprises a pair of dual powered axles each driving either a set of drive flanged rollers, or a set of conveyors, for moving the system along purlins, or joists, of a building. The flanged rollers are used when dispensing of material to a side wall of the building is desired and the building is roofless, and when dispensing of material to an end wall of the building is desired and the building is roofed. The conveyors, which are removably mounted to the underside of the material transport system, are used for dispensing material to a side wall when the building is roofed, and when dispensing material to an end wall when the building is roofless.Type: GrantFiled: April 30, 2003Date of Patent: March 7, 2006Assignee: Therm-All, Inc.Inventor: Jeffrey P. Patent number: 6631602Abstract: A carriage having a base frame supported on rolling elements, and an upper frame tiltably supported on the base frame for leveling the upper frame when the base frame is inclined from side-to-side. The upper frame supports at least three rolls of insulation. The carriage is supported on the framework of a building roof and moves along a building wall for dispensing vertical lengths of insulation which are secured to the wall.Type: GrantFiled: April 3, 2001Date of Patent: October 14, 2003Assignee: Therm-All, Inc.Inventor: Jeffrey P.
