Abstract: The invention improves document generation systems in which data is collected to enable automated, customised document generation. initially, a questionnaire which defines a dataset is completed. The system then determines which variables are relevant, and then determines whether all relevant variables are in the dataset. Finally, the system generates a fully customised document if the dataset is complete.

Abstract: A method of identifying and presenting accounts and postings of a social media system may include: retrieving, via at least one communication interface of the social media system, account information for a plurality of social media accounts; classifying, based on the retrieved account information, the plurality of social media accounts according to account type; ranking, based on the retrieved account information, the plurality of social media accounts according to perceived importance or influence; storing, in an account database, a representation of a subset of the plurality of social media accounts having a ranking greater than a predetermined threshold; retrieving, via the at least one API, postings of the stored social media accounts; and generating, for display on a user system, a user interface to present the retrieved social media postings for the stored accounts organized according to at least one of: account type, or ranking.

Abstract: Intervention in the operation of a smart contract in a distributed ledger system may include: launching execution of the smart contract; upon launching execution of the smart contract, executing a judgment checking function to determine whether a judgment against the smart contract exists in a judgment database; in response to a judgment against the smart contract existing in the judgment database, intervening in the operation of the smart contract to prevent the execution of the smart contract; and in response to no judgment against the smart contract existing in the judgment database, continuing execution of the smart contract.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed towards systems and methods for linking documents that refer to other documents through implicit linkages. A first document is identified. The first document comprises an authoritative comment regarding a second document and has been explicitly linked to the second document. Then, one or more third documents are identified. The second document cites or is being cited by the one or more third documents and shares common information. Based upon the authoritative comment, the first document is implicitly linked to the one or more third documents via the common information.

Abstract: An embodiment of a method of providing identity assurance for a decentralized application (DApp) includes executing, by at least one distributed node of a blockchain system, an entitlement contract stored on the blockchain to perform a read call from a DApp contract stored on the blockchain, the read call including an address signing a transaction to the DApp contract. Performing the read call may include reading a list of registered addresses stored on the blockchain, determining whether the list includes the signing address; and providing an output indicating whether the list includes the signing address. The method may further include executing, by the at least one distributed node, a registry contract stored on the blockchain to perform a read call from the DApp contract, the read call including an identifier of the decentralized application.

Abstract: Systems, methods, interfaces, and software can facilitate identification of law firms and/or legal professionals. For example, an informational retrieval system may include a database comprising information regarding lawyers and a server is configured to: receive a query regarding a legal issue from at least one client access device; associate the query with a corresponding legal context; generate a list of lawyer names contained in the database; calculate at least one legal experience indicator for each of the lawyer names; and rank the lawyer names in the list according to the calculated legal experience indicator associated with each of the lawyer names and according to the corresponding legal context associated with the query.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed towards systems and methods for performing updates in a distributed environment, which comprises receiving a platform product and a plurality of supporting products at a server, the server being accessible by one or more access devices and receiving a plurality of modified supporting products at the server, a given modified supporting product corresponding to a given supporting product. A determination is made as to whether a given one of the plurality of supporting products is in use by the one or more access devices. If the given one of the plurality of supporting products is not in use, the given one of the plurality of supporting products is overwritten with the corresponding modified supporting platform product. If the given one of the plurality of supporting products is in use, the given one of the plurality of supporting products is locked until its use terminates.

Abstract: Disclosed is a system and method for incentivizing participants on an electronic trading venue to post competitively priced bids or offers onto that venue. Participants that post such bids and offers are rewarded by a venue implementing the invention by being sent more frequent (and/or enhanced) market data updates over participants who do not, while those bids and offers remain active and competitive. Participants that receive more frequent market data updates from a venue may have an informational advantage in their trading over those participants that receive less frequent updates.

Abstract: An embodiment of a method of providing financial data to a financial instrument smart contract in a distributed ledger system includes: receiving, by an oracle smart contract in the distributed ledger system, a transaction from the financial instrument smart contract, the transaction including registration data having an identification of financial data to be delivered and an identification of a schedule on which to deliver the financial data; generating a transaction including the financial data; and transmitting the generated transaction to at least one distributed node of the distributed ledger system according to the requested schedule.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed towards a citation formatting system and a method for operating an online research service for providing legal citations. The exemplary system provides the citation formatting function in a client-server architecture, receiving citations from a user's client access device over a computer network and communicating citation format suggestions back to the client access device for possible insertion into a document on the access device.

Abstract: An electronic trading venue (ETV) may prioritize maker orders that specify or are associated with cancel delay values by selecting a maker order to be matched with taker orders before competing maker orders, at the same price level for a given instrument, that have smaller or no cancel delay values. Such prioritization may occur even if the competing maker orders were received before the maker order. A cancel delay value indicates an amount of time that must pass after a request to cancel a maker order is received before the ETV actually cancels the maker order. Thus, in exchange for prioritization, maker orders will be subject to a cancellation delay that starts after a cancel request is received and during which a maker order will not be canceled. Takers may benefit from this by being able to match with a maker order before it can be canceled.

In accordance with the method, a plurality of information identifier (infoID) sets is generated based on at least one search term and at least one filtering criteria. The at least the plurality of infoID sets is joined according to a mathematical expression to form a resultant infoID set that includes at least one resultant infoID. At least a portion of a content document associated with the at least one resultant infoID is retrieved. At least one resultant infoID is summarized into at least one summary. The retrieved portion of the content document is summarized into the at least one summary of a combined result based on the associated at least one resultant infoID.

Abstract: Systems and technologies for providing an electronic bilateral chat room are disclosed. Users of the system may be screened against a database of organizations having hierarchal information relating to parent organization for which the user is associated, including parent subsidiaries, joint ventures and affiliates. While a bilateral chat room is limited to users in only two organizations, the present disclosure also allows other users that are associated with the structure of the parent organization to be included in the chat room.

Abstract: A method for evaluating an online entity presence includes receiving a set of social media information for at least one entity and calculating a social media measurement where the social media measurement is associated with the set of social media information. The method further includes receiving a set of online profile information for the at least one entity, the set of online profile information being associated with one or more non-social media online profiles, and calculating an online profile measurement wherein the online profile measurement is associated with the set of online profile information. The method further includes calculating a reach value, the reach value being associated with the social media measurement and the online profile measurement and providing a reach score to a user where the reach score associated with the reach value.
