Abstract: A fastener for a furniture jointing device is made in two parts. The first part (10), including head (12) and shank (11) portions, is made from a first material such as steel. The second part (13) is made from a second material such as zinc and is conveniently cast directly onto the first part (10). The second part (13) is made with thread formations to enable it to be anchored to a first furniture component (15). The head portion (12) of the first part (10) is designed to engage with a camming element (16) mounted in a second furniture component (18).
