    Abstract: An air conditioning system comprises: a motor (5, 69); a speed increasing mechanism (7) connected to the motor to increase revolution speed of the motor; an air compressor (3) driven by the motor through the speed increasing mechanism at high speed to produce a high-temperature pressurized air; a cooler (11) for cooling the high-temperature pressurized air; and a turbine (9) for further cooling the pressurized air cooled by the cooler on the basis of adiabatic expansion. The rotational force of the turbine is feed-backed to the motor and the air compressor. In the air conditioning system thus constructed, since the air compressor (3) is driven by the motor (5, 69) through the speed increasing mechanism (7) in particular, it is possible to increase the pressure ratio of the air compressor and the air conditioning capacity, without increasing the size and weight of the air conditioning system.

In the torque divider first and second side gears are arranged side by side. The second side gear has a predetermined radius larger than that of the first side gear. First and second pinion gears are housed inside the first and second supporting holes, respectively. The first and second pinion gears, respectively, have first and second gear parts. The first gear parts of the first and second pinion gears are meshed with each other; the second gear part of the first pinion gear is meshed with the first side gear; and the second gear part of the second pinion gear is meshed with the second side gear.

    Abstract: A continuously variable transmission employing a vane pump and a vane motor has a mechanism for mutually moving housings of the vane pump and the vane motor or for moving each independently. The mechanism can gradually decrease the eccentricity of the internal circumference of the housing of the vane pump with respect to a rotor of the vane pump while increasing the eccentricity of the internal circumference of the housing of the vane motor with respect to a rotor of the vane motor, or vice versa, thereby regulating the rotative speed output from the vane motor.

    Abstract: A supercharging device including an actuator for controlling return force of a resilient member in a continuously variable transmission (CVT) with a flyweight and a resilient member is provided. The actuator is employed so that a movable flange slides along the axis thereof away from a fixed flange in a drive pulley of the CVT when under a light load for which auxiliary machinery such as a supercharger driven by the CVT requires little driving force. The actuator is installed inside an input pulley through which the driving force of the engine is transmitted to the drive pulley.

    Abstract: A limited slip differential for limiting differential rotation between a differential casing and axles via a frictional connection includes a pinion shaft rotating integrally with the differential casing and a pinion gear attached rotatively to the pinion shaft. A side gear engages with the pinion gear and is mounted loosely with respect to the axles. A first cam portion formed on the side gear engages with a second cam portion formed on a driving member which is spline-engaged with one of the axles, supporting the side gear and supported by and centered on the differential casing. A frictionally connecting clutch is disposed between the driving member and the differential casing.
