  • Patent number: 6880161
Abstract: A cam structure is equipped with a first cam that displaces a first follower section in a radial direction, a second follower section that rotates with the first cam and has at least three support pins, and a second cam that displaces the second follower section in an axial direction. The first cam is formed from divided segments defining at least three arcuate surfaces with different radiuses and sloped connection surfaces that connect the arcuate surfaces and are provided in ranges that give appropriate pressure angles with respect to the first follower section, and the second cam is provided with cam sections, each of the cam sections being divided in the radial direction in the number corresponding to the number of the support pins. The divided cam sections of the second cam are disposed at positions arranged in a circumferential direction in a manner that displacements in the axial direction of the second follower section are timed with displacements in the radial direction of the first follower section.

  • Patent number: 6545967
Abstract: A disk changer for a disk player capable of storing two disks and changing one of the disks while playing the other. The disk changer comprises a frame, a drawer moveable in an longitudinal direction between an eject and a stock position with respect to the frame, two carriages each for carrying a disk, two sliders for attaching the carriages to the drawer in a vertically displaced relationship and for exchanging the positions of the two carriages in the longitudinal direction between a front and a back portion of the drawer, and a disk playing part located in the back portion the frame, including a turntable and a lift mechanism for placing the disk carried by the carriage in the back portion of the drawer onto the turntable for playing. The ejecting movements of the drawer, the position exchanging movements of the sliders, and the lifting movements of the lift mechanism are synchronized and control by a single motor via a cam system.

  • Publication number: 20020163863
Abstract: A carriage ejection mechanism has a drawer, which moves back and forth between a stock position and an eject position, a plurality of carriages contained inside the drawer in a slidable manner in the direction in which the drawer moves and in a vertically stacked manner, and a slide control device that slides the carriages relative to the drawer. The slide control device slides upper carriages relatively more towards the stock position than the lower carriages such that the plurality of carriages are positioned successively staggered in a stair-like manner in the eject position.

  • Patent number: 5452160
Abstract: A mode switching transmitting mechanism for a tape player according to the present invention, in which a play mode and a fast forward/fast rewinding mode is switched by sliding a transmitting gear engaged with a driving gear in a direction of an axial line, makes it possible to construct a small and thin switching mechanism. According to the present invention a first gear having a greater diameter on the driving side and a first gear having a smaller diameter have a common shaft. A second gear having a greater diameter on the driven side and a second gear having a smaller diameter are supported slidably on a shaft on a pivoting arm side and held, energized towards one direction of an axial line by a spring. In order to realize the play mode, a lever is pushed. Then an operating lever is forwarded and a wedge portion thereof is engaged with a conical plateau portion formed in a wedge portion of the gear having a greater diameter.
