Abstract: A swivel joint for high pressure fluid capable of preventing the leakage of the high pressure fluid and smoothing the rotation of the rotating one of the shaft member and the receiving member, with a simple and compact structure, which can be manufactured inexpensively. The swivel joint includes a cylindrical cavity formed inside the receiving member and around the shaft member. including: a contacting end, normal to an axial direction along the axis of relative rotation of the shaft member and the receiving member, contacting with the high pressure fluid through the connecting portion connecting the fluid paths of the shaft member and the receiving member; a movable sealing member, movable in the axial direction, contacting with the high pressure fluid through the contacting end; and a hollow chamber, separated from the contacting end by the movable sealing member, confining the fat oil.
Abstract: A multi-articulation robot formed of a plurality of rotary articulation mechanisms, rocking articulation mechanisms, rotary shafts and vertical rods so that the above mentioned rotary articulation mechanisms, rocking articulation mechanisms and rotary shafts may be sequentially controlled to move to any predetermined position a working attachment provided at the tip.
Abstract: Industrial diamond powder is prepared from a mixture of graphite and a non-metallic material which is semi-transparent to thermal radiation by projecting a solid body against said mixture at a velocity which lies between the sonic wave propagation velocity of said graphite and said semi-transparent material. The shock collision provides the high pressure and temperature rise necessary for conversion of graphite to diamond and the semi-transparent material provides for sufficiently rapid cooling to prevent reversion of the formed diamond powder to graphite.
Abstract: A hydraulic impact molding device for molding metal and like materials under instantaneously generated high hydraulic pressure is provided. The device includes a fitted, axially slidable cap which overfits the mold. A generally upward hydraulic force is internally generated within the mold for deforming a workpiece and the impact thereof is substantially absorbed by the slidable overfitting cap thereon which is axially slidably displaced thereby.
Abstract: A watch case wherein a back wall is integral with a side wall which projects forwardly from the back wall while surrounding a space which is closed at one end of the side wall by the back wall and which is open at the opposed end of the side wall, the latter having a pair of integral lugs projecting laterally from each of a pair of opposed regions thereof for supporting watch-band holding rods. The one-piece body which includes the latter structure is formed of sintered diamond particles.
