  • Patent number: 4564921
Abstract: A full adder is disclosed which comprises a first exclusive OR circuit for OR processing a first input signal and a second input signal, a second exclusive OR gate for OR processing an output signal of the first exclusive OR gate and a third input signal, and select circuit for selecting one of the first and second input signals and the third input signal according to a logical level of the output signal of the first exclusive OR gate. A sum signal of the first to third input signals, is obtained by the first exclusive OR means and the second exclusive OR means. The select means selects either the first or second input signal or the output signal of the third input signal according to a logical level of the output signal of the first exclusive OR means. The selected signal is used as a carry signal.

  • Patent number: 4520399
Abstract: A picture information display having a control circuit for determining a reductive ratio which is set in a size converting circuit in accordance with the size of an orginal and the size of a display area at a display unit. The size converting circuit reduces the size of the picture information read out from a page buffer memory of the control circuit in accordance with the reductive ratio. The readout picture information is stored in a refresh memory of a display interface. The display unit displays the size-reduced picture information of the refresh memory. The reductive ratio is so selected that the picture information stored in the refresh memory is displayed over the entire region of a display area of the display unit.

  • Patent number: 4485639
Abstract: A compressor included in a refrigerative cycle is disposed in a refrigerator with a rear plate and side plates. The cooling device for the compressor includes a thermo-siphon which includes a closed pipe loop disposed independent of the refrigerative cycle to cool the compressor. The thermo-siphon contains a gaseous liquid refrigerant corresponding to 60% to 80% of the inner volume of the closed pipe loop and has a heat absorbing portion immersed in an oil stored in the compressor and a heat discharging portion at least a part of which thermally contacts the rear plate or the side plates.

  • Patent number: 4267499
Abstract: The speed of an induction motor fed from a frequency converter is controlled by controlling the primary current by a primary current vector. To this end, a digital quantity corresponding to the slip frequency is sequentially added at a predetermined interval, and a digital quantity proportional to the angle of rotation is added to obtain a sum value. Then the primary current vector is computed from the sum value and a current component which influences only the torque to control the frequency converter. The method is suitable to be carried out with a microcomputer.
