Patent number: 11673092Abstract: A control valve for a reverse osmosis water purifying system provides a feed water port, a squeeze water port, a drain port, and a product water connection, each of which open into a bore. A first, second, and third O-rings are located in the bore successively between the feed water port, the squeeze water port, the drain port, and the product water connection. A control piston is moveably located in the bore of the housing. The control piston includes a vent/drain well in which a side is chamfered and at least one recess disposed around an end of the control piston. The vent/drain well provides a fluid passage between the squeeze water port and the drain port when the vent/drain well passes over the second O-ring. The fluid passage includes an opening formed between the second O-ring and the chamfered side of the vent/drain well, where the size of the opening is responsive to the position of the control piston.Type: GrantFiled: May 10, 2021Date of Patent: June 13, 2023Assignee: Topper Manufacturing CorporationInventor: Timothy Allen Beall

Patent number: 11305238Abstract: Reverse osmosis filter apparatus having a reverse osmosis filter system, a pan connected to the reverse osmosis filter system and located at the bottom thereof to collect water that leaks from the reverse osmosis filter system and a water sensing shut-off valve connected to the pan, the water sensing shut-off valve being coupled between a raw water input and the reverse osmosis filter system, the water sensing shut-off valve being connected to the pan at a location to sense the presence of water collecting in the pan and to disconnect the reverse osmosis filter system from the raw water input when the presence of water is sensed. Various features and embodiments are disclosed.Type: GrantFiled: January 18, 2018Date of Patent: April 19, 2022Assignee: Topper Manufacturing CorporationInventor: Timothy Allen Beall

Patent number: 10464022Abstract: Parallel processing reverse osmosis water filtration systems using multiple RO (reverse osmosis) filter systems having their raw water input connections coupled together, their product water output connections coupled together and their drain connections coupled together. Using appropriate valving, any one or more reverse osmosis filter systems may be decoupled from the rest of the system for servicing without shutting down the entire system, and one or more additional reverse osmosis filter systems may be added to increase the product water output capacity when needed. Optional features disclosed include enhanced product water storage capacity, control of the total dissolved solids in the product water dispensed, and protection against leaks that may disable one RO filter system, but not the entire parallel processing reverse osmosis water filtration systems. Various embodiments are disclosed.Type: GrantFiled: July 12, 2017Date of Patent: November 5, 2019Assignee: Topper Manufacturing CorporationInventor: Timothy Allen Beall

Patent number: 9856987Abstract: A dispensing valve for fastening to a water faucet disposed over a drain and to a reverse osmosis water filtering unit for controllably dispensing tap water, for providing feed water to the reverse osmosis water filtering unit, for providing squeeze water to the reverse osmosis water filtering unit and dispensing product water received therefrom, and to block all water flow. The dispensing valve may also dispense tap water in a spray, and provide for waste water disposal.Type: GrantFiled: December 3, 2015Date of Patent: January 2, 2018Assignee: Topper Manufacturing CorporationInventor: Timothy Allen Beall

Patent number: 4432619Abstract: A microform viewer has a case section pivotally mounting a screen, to move from a collapsed position to a viewing position, and slidably receiving a two-part projection section that telescopes into the case section. As the projection section moves into and out of the case section it positively drives the screen between collapsed and display positions. The projection section is made of two mutually separable housings that fit together along the film path so that when the two housings are separated the two pressure plates forming part of the film path are readily accessible.Type: GrantFiled: May 3, 1982Date of Patent: February 21, 1984Assignee: Topper Manufacturing CorporationInventor: Detlef E. Patent number: 4327974Abstract: A portable microform viewer provides a short film path through a film transporter that adjustably positions the film in two directions by means of a pair of concentric knobs. A pair of projecting lenses is shiftably mounted for selection of one or the other and the two are mounted on a common pivoted focusing plate. Film is positioned within the film transport by means of a pair of glass flats that are detachably mounted in the transport and flexibly connected to each other for accommodation of microform of different thickness and for ready removal and complete cleaning.Type: GrantFiled: August 16, 1979Date of Patent: May 4, 1982Assignee: Topper Manufacturing CorporationInventor: Detlef E.
