    Abstract: An ice dam melting system includes a heat cell which is placed on a roof and which includes an upper panel, a lower panel which is spaced apart from the upper panel, and a conduit which extends in the space between the upper and lower panels. A heat generating mechanism is disposed in the conduit to provide heat to the heat cell.
