Patents Assigned to Tower Mfg. Corp.
  • Patent number: 10497529
Abstract: A universal ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) device for interrupting the flow of current through a pair of lines extending between a source of power and a load. The GFCI device is easily adaptable to fit into a plurality of enclosure types and includes a top surface having a stationary assembly. The stationary assembly includes a load section a GFCI circuit section, and a power source section, wherein the components of the device are arranged to minimize space, maintain arcing and dielectric prevention distances, and allow for peripheral load and source connections facilitating easy adaptability into a variety of GFCI enclosures.

  • Patent number: 10132410
Abstract: A sealing assembly for mating two sections of an electrical device enclosure is disclosed. The enclosure includes a top and bottom joinable section. The sealing assembly includes a first sealing section disposed on the top joinable section that has both first and second upper projecting lip extensions. The second upper projecting lip extension has a height less than the first upper projecting lip extension and forms a channel therebetween. A second sealing section is disposed on the bottom joinable section, and includes a downward projecting lip extension and channel. The downward projecting lip extension is offset from the first section first upward projecting lip extension when the top and bottom joinable sections are joined. At that point the downward projecting lip extension engages within the channel of the first sealing section, and the second upper projecting lip extension of said first sealing section is engaged within the second sealing section channel.

  • Patent number: 9466971
Abstract: An appliance leakage current interrupter (ALCI) for interrupting the flow of current through a pair of lines extending between a source of power and a load. The appliance leakage current interrupter having a housing integrating components that would normally be positioned on an ALCI circuit board. The ALCI having a prong assembly for supplying power from a source of power to the remainder of the ALCI, the prong assembly having first and second contact prongs which are in a first embodiment integrated into an ALCI circuit and in a second embodiment integrated into the housing assembly.
