The working surface of the jig is smoothed so that an arithmetic mean surface roughness Ra is not more than 0.12 ?m, and so that no protrusion is observed that has a width of not less than 200 ?m and a height of not less than 10 ?m, which are calculated on a basis of a projection thereof along a working direction.

The substrate has a nickel-plated metal sheet having a nickel-plating layer formed on at least one surface of a metal sheet or a nickel-based sheet, and a glass layer of an electrically-insulating layered bismuth-based glass on a surface of the nickel-plating layer or the nickel-based sheet. An oxide layer having a roughened surface is formed on the surface of the nickel-plating layer or the surface of the nickel-based sheet, and the bismuth-based glass contains 70 to 84% by weight of Bi2O3, 10 to 12% by weight of ZnO, and 6 to 12% by weight of B2O3. Also disclosed is a method for producing the substrate for flexible device, a substrate for an organic EL device, a sheet used as a substrate for flexible device, a method for producing the sheet and a bismuth-based lead-free glass composition.

Abstract: Nanocellulose containing a sulfuric acid group and/or a sulfo group, each of which is derived from a sulfuric acid treatment, and an anionic functional group derived from a hydrophilization treatment. The total amount of the sulfuric acid group and/or the sulfo group and the anionic functional group is more than 0.1 mmol/g and not more than 4.0 mmol/g. Also disclosed is a product including a mixture containing the nanocellulose and a method for producing the nanocellulose.
Abstract: A multilayered structure that includes an olefin resin layer and a gas-barrier layer. An adhesive layer is provided adjoining the olefin resin layer and the gas-barrier layer, the adhesive layer consisting of an acid-modified olefin resin. The acid-modified olefin resin has methyl branches in a number of 10 to 200 per 1000 carbon atoms on a main chain thereof, and has not more than 50 branches that are larger than the methyl groups.

Abstract: A polylactic acid copolymer having more improved hydrolizability and hydrophilic property than those of the polylactic acid. The polylactic acid copolymer is obtained by the copolymerization of a polylactic acid with an acid-releasing ester polymer capable of releasing an acid other than the lactic acid upon the hydrolysis. The polylactic acid copolymer has a quantity of heat of fusion ?H of not more than 20 J/g as measured by using the DSC when the temperature is elevated the second time, contains the copolymer units stemming from the acid-releasing ester polymer in an amount of 0.5 to 35% by mass, and has a weight average molecular weight in a range of 15,000 to 40,000.

Abstract: A thermoplastic resin-coated metal sheet obtained by coating at least one surface of a metal sheet with a thermoplastic resin via a polyester type primer, wherein the polyester type primer, if it is in the form of a 10 ?m-thick dry primer sheet, has a breaking elongation in a range of 9 to 200% at a tension speed of 1000 mm/min. and an MEK extractability in a range of 3 to 40%. Without using a special thermoplastic resin-coated film or surface-treated metal sheet, therefore, the cans and can lids can be formed using the thermoplastic resin-coated metal sheet of the invention maintaining excellent and close adhesion during the working, preventing the can body from breaking and the thermoplastic resin coating from peeling at the flange-forming portion during the working, the cans and can lids excelling in dent resistance and economy.

Abstract: A resin structure comprising a resin formed body (1) and a liquid layer (3) formed on a surface of the resin formed body (1), the liquid layer (3) having liquid protrusions (3a) that are locally protruded on the surface thereof. Abstract: A hydroponic cultivation system includes a plurality of seedbeds, a hanging part, and a transport mechanism. A plurality of seedlings of a plant to be cultivated is transplanted to side surfaces of the plurality of seedbeds. The hanging part hangs each of the plurality of seedbeds while the plurality of seedbeds is arranged in a predetermined horizontal direction from a planting side of the seedlings to a harvesting side of the seedlings. The transport mechanism transports the plurality of seedbeds in the predetermined horizontal direction while widening spaces between the seedbeds in the predetermined horizontal direction in a stepwise or continuous manner.
