The top has an opening to the containing portion. The side wall has a recess adjacent to the bottom. The container has a bottom wall. The containing portion extends from the bottom wall to the opening. The container has a top handle adjacent to the top of the side wall. The container has a recess handle that extends from the bottom of the side wall to the middle of the side wall adjacent to the recess.

Abstract: A dispenser for a paper product having a faceplate defining a slot including a center portion, a first end and a second end. The center portion is larger than the first and second ends. The faceplate has a plurality of outwardly projecting lips positioned adjacent to the center portion for engaging a person's fingers to limit access to a paper product being dispensed through the slot.

Abstract: A dispenser for granular material having a container for storing the material. The container is connected to a dispensing assembly having a chamber in removable communication with the container. The volume of the chamber is controlled by an insert that is installed in one of several positions and orientations within the chamber to determine the amount of material to be dispensed from the container.

Abstract: A cutting board has an improved footing system that supports the cutting surfaces off the counter with removable footings inserted into openings at the corners of the board. The inserts have enlarged ends at each side of the board that elevate the board and prevent the inserts from separating from the board inadvertently. The foot inserts can be inserted straight into each preferably circular opening in which case one of the ends is compressed and passed through the opening for insertion or removal. Alternatively, the footings can also be slid into openings, formed as open-ended slots at the edge of the board, in which case the openings define a narrowed neck that interferes with a slightly wider section of the foot insert to reduce unintended separation. A grid pattern can be formed on either or both cutting surfaces using a suitable surface impression technique.

Abstract: A serving tray has a slot formed in a side wall of the tray into which is received the corner of a shouter card with a friction fit between the card and the slot. Both bottom corners of the card extend through the side wall of the tray at opposite ends of the slot and the shouter card is supported from the bottom by the tray in the middle of the slot. The slot is made of alternating angle segments so that from end to end the slot is straight but a friction fit is created between the slot and the shouter card by the alternating peaks and valleys of the slot for a relatively wide range of shouter card thicknesses.

Abstract: An adjustable cup dispenser includes a tubular body having overlapping portions extending between a discharge opening at one end and an opposing end. A fastening mechanism selectively fixes the overlapping portions relative to each other to define a desired tubular body diameter. A plurality of radially inwardly extending dual-length fingers extend from the discharge opening for engaging a cup disposed in the tubular body. The dispenser body and fingers can be formed from a single sheet of flexible material, and then folded and rolled into the shape of the cup dispenser. The overlapping sides can be repositioned to define a different tubular body diameter.

Abstract: Dishwasher rack and extender for an automatic dishwasher has 12, 20, 30 or 42 compartments defined by a plurality of rows of adjacent hexagonal compartments with a half hexagonal compartment at the end of each row and two rows of pentagonal compartments with a half pentagonal compartment at one end. The rows of pentagonal compartments border opposite sides of the rows of hexagonal compartments and the end compartments alternate ends from row to row.

Abstract: A glass and cup holding assembly for an automatic dishwasher includes a rack and a rack extender. The rack has side walls with an upper edge having spaced apart upwardly opening sockets. The rack extender has side walls with a lower edge defining connector pins each having a shaft, at least a portion of which tapers inwardly from the lower edge, and an enlarged head defining a catch surface. The pins engage the sockets such that the shaft is disposed within the socket and the head catch surface engages an underside of the upper edge of the side wall.
