Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatus are disclosed that process requested changes to operating parameters of an Internet of Things (IoT) device. In some embodiments, a client computing device originates a requested change to the IoT device. An IoT services system may process the requested change and determine whether an early indication of success is appropriate. If an early indication of success is appropriate, the IoT services system, prior to the requested change being applied to the IoT device, transmits to the client computing device a first message that provides an indication of success for the requested change.

A mobile device having a display that presents a user interface enabling access to functionalities provided by connected devices. The user interface may be updated as various contextually-related data is received. For example, data representing a current position of the mobile device, such as Bluetooth low energy beacon signals, WiFi signals, and the like, may be monitored. In response to determining that the current position is within a threshold proximity of a first location, the user interface may be updated to emphasize a first location interface corresponding to the first location over interfaces corresponding to other locations.

In response to receiving a selection from the mobile device of the at least one user interface element, the plurality of merchandise items associated with the clothing outfit may be delivered to a merchandise check-out location within the store. Abstract: Techniques for evaluating software systems are provided, including measurement of performance ratings of features of an app-under-test are described. The evaluation may include analysis of a video recording of the user interface of the app-under-test, where the video analysis may include comparing the changes over time of co-located pixel in the video to produce a performance rating, for example a speed index. The results of multiple such tests can be compared by comparing the performance rating produced during execution of different tests.

The control unit is further configured to generate signals that cause the conveyor to convey the substance from the reservoir to a container placed under the dispenser outlet and cease conveying the substance upon the container attaining the requested fill level.

Individuals desiring to borrow a particular thing may search a listing of things offered for rental by lenders that have chosen to list for rental some of the things that they own. If a thing desired by one wishing to rent is not available among the things currently listed for rental, the borrower may request that potential lenders be contacted. Potential lenders may be identified using a collection of personal information for a population of consumers based on consumer purchase history information and consumer rental history information collected by the entity operating the peer-to-peer rental system.
