Abstract: Various devices and methods for hanging tools or other items from a ladder are disclosed. The devices may be incorporated into parts of the ladder itself or be separate add-on devices for use with assorted ladders. The devices include a hinge button hook, a hinge button, a foot hook, and a rail hook.

Abstract: A bucket for a multi-position ladder is disclosed. The bucket provides an area for workspace or for storage of tools or materials. The bucket is configured to be removably attachable at the top of the ladder when in use in the A-frame position or removably attached to the ladder and preferably within the boundaries of the ladder when not in use.

Abstract: An improved adjustable hinge for a multi-position ladder that is positionable in a variety of configurations while being ergonomic to adjust and which is structurally sound, rigid, and easy to adjust, light in weight, and has a long service life. The mating surfaces of the outer hinge plates, inner hinge plates, and inner hinge center spacer are large, contributing to overall hinge rigidity and stability. The size of the lock button and lock bracket are each relatively large, making them ergonomic to operate, while also being large enough to be operable by a gloved human hand. A method of assembling an improved adjustable hinge for a multi-position ladder that is positionable in a variety of configurations.

Abstract: A wheelbarrow is disclosed. The wheelbarrow includes an improved wheel guard, leg arrangement, and stabilizer that require less work to transport, lift, and dump the wheelbarrow. Also disclosed are an improved axle structure and means of assembly for a wheelbarrow.

Abstract: A convertible handle having a shaft portion and a grip portion. The grip portion is configured to slide along the length the shaft portion to expose a tongue on the shaft portion. In a manual configuration, the grip portion is used for manually pulling a cart. When not in the manual configuration, the shaft may be attached to a vehicle via the tongue for towing by vehicle.

Abstract: An multi-position ladder is disclosed that includes an adjustable top cap that provides a tool or material tool tray when the ladder is in a stepladder position and provides a step when the ladder is in an extension ladder position is disclosed. The top cap generally comprises a rigid frame extending between the adjustable hinges of the multi-position ladder with a tool or utility tray and a step surface on opposing sides. The tool tray is parallel to the ladder rungs when the ladder is in a stepladder position, and the step surface provides a generally planar surface parallel the rungs when the ladder is in an extension position. The rigid frame of the top cap adds strength to the adjustment hinge and to the multi-position ladder. Embodiments allow for 12-inch hinge spacing, adding one foot reach in the extension position and six inch reach to the stepladder.

Abstract: A folding leg for a stepladder is disclosed. The folding leg allows the width of the stepladder base to be narrowed when in the stored orientation and widened while in an in-use orientation.

Abstract: A dumping cart is disclosed. The cart allows for complete dumping while maintaining four wheels on the ground and can rotate the rear set of wheels to allow the bed of the cart to be completely turned over for emptying. Also disclosed is a method of attaching an article retaining bed to a cart.

Abstract: A ladder including a first frame, a second frame and a platform assembly. The first frame includes one or more fixed steps. The platform assembly includes a first platform pivotably coupled to the first frame, a second platform pivotably coupled to the first frame, a first linkage coupled between the second frame and one of the first platform and the second platform, and a second linkage coupled to the first platform and the second platform. The ladder is movable between a closed position and an open position.
