Patents Assigned to Triton Engineering Services Company
  • Patent number: 5462673
Abstract: A vibratory screen apparatus (10) for the separation of solids has a cleaning system to clean the screen bed (15) of adhering solids, such as matted fibrous materials. A water discharge assembly (52) includes a water dispensing tubular member (60) in which elongate slots (76, 78) are provided to discharge pressurized water in a continuous stream or curtain across the entire width of the screen bed (15). The water dispensing tubular member (60) is mounted on a movable slide (54) for back and forth movement along the length of the screen bed (15) by a sprocket chain (72). An endless belt conveyor (104) has an upper run (108) on which the solid materials are deposited enclosed within a tubular conduit (114) for protection of the solid materials being transported by the conveyer (104).

  • Patent number: 4911834
Abstract: A separation system for removing drilled solids from a drilling fluid being circulated in a well including a vibratory screen apparatus (10) and method for separating materials having a base (12) supporting a vibratory support frame (13) for relative vibratory movement. A pair of transversely aligned motor vibrators (88) are mounted on a transverse horizontal support (82) secured between opposed sides (64,66) of vibratory frame (13) generally in the area of the center of gravity of the vibratory from (13). The motor vibrators (88) have rotational axes (L3) extending at an angle A with respect to the horizontal and being in a vertical plane parallel to the longitudinal axis (L1) of the screen bed.

  • Patent number: 4872520
Abstract: An earth drilling bit with a body having a flat bottom. A plurality of cutting elements positioned on the flat bottom including a polycrystalline diamond cutter. The cutters include an elongate apex with a face on both sides of the apex extending backwardly from the apex. The apex extends generally vertically with a slight rake for providing a chisel surface for acting on the earth even when when the cutter becomes worn. The cutter may include multiple apexes and have zero side rake. A plurality of fluid circulating channels are provided in the flat bottom and vertically along the outside of the body and a plurality of fluid nozzles are directed outwardly at an angle to the longitudinal axis of the body.
